I joked with the manager that it was the fastest deal I had ever made. He said "it took 4 hrs" and yes it did. But thats what made it easy. I had been looking for a truck with specific features. Was set to head to another dealership and likely close a deal later that afternoon. But, I had seen a truck I liked and decided to head to Gretna before hand. The truck was sent to auction. Instead of saying too bad so sad as many would or pushing me towards something I didnt want... Ed spent about an hour looking through their inventory. I spotted a truck which hadnt been listed online yet and low and behold it matched my requirements. Super nice truck on top of it all. Of course the wife wanted to see it as well. Theres no reason to list the exact details of the deal we made however what should be noted is that we are the second ones in the family to purchase from this dealership and each time they have exceed my expectations. Not just in your normal business courtesy kind of way but when something was a little off or we needed a little extra done to make us happy they were more than willing to work with us. If youre reading my review I want to state something that seems so obvious but for some it seems like its the hardest thing in the world. Have some d**m courtesy. Dont walk in expecting 4K off a vehicle! These are priced right and sometimes well below what they should sell for. There is common sense in making a car deal and if you have straight forward and LOGICAL expectations for trade value/sell value then youll have a much better experience. Youre also likely to get anyone to go that extra 1/10th of a mile for you. Dont waste your time anywhere else. Look through their website; if you dont find what youre looking for find a salesman whos willing to keep an eye out at auction. They buy 10-20 vehicles a day. It wont take that long and youll be much happier! Lastly, I have never met any of these guys before. I spoke to one on the phone briefly. I believe credit is due, even negative credit, where its due. Although, these guys certainly earned the positive review. I have no qualms about calling out someone for a piss poor job. I spent 10 years active duty and I certainly dont owe anyone anything. Thanks again Ed and Brian!

Last month we purchased a 2013 Ford Escape from Gretna Auto. My husband was lured in by the whole promise of winning a big prize (but walked away with a whole $2 Amazon gift certificate). We fell for the first vehicle we rode in. When test driving the Escape, we noticed the windows were fogging up and the air wasnt blowing out properly. Their mechanic said there were two plastic pieces floating around that they assembled and all was fine. On the way home, all was not fine. We were told to bring it in and have it looked at. We did. Then, just three days before Christmas, we were told to take it to a mechanic and handed a phone number. We did and that problems was fixed. We were promised several things the day we bought the vehicle (remote start, a second key, new tires). We waited three weeks to be called about getting these features. After an unreturned call and a nasty e-mail, I finally heard from the manager. We dropped the vehicle off and got a loaner. The gas gauge light was on and I got gas fearful that I couldnt make it to base. The manager had promised to fill my tank up for the inconvenience they had caused, yet it was less than I brought it in with. MY BIGGEST issue with them is when looking at the car, we asked the dealer how much the car was. We were aiming for around $18,000. He said it was starting out in the low 20s and with the trade-in on our car ($2500) he would get us closer to our mark. We felt like idiots as we left after signing all the documents not knowing how much we actually spent. We spent over $27,000! That is $9000 more than we wanted to spend. Yep, it is legal. Al may be a good car salesman but I feel really screwed over. We spent a lot more than we wanted to spend and we are still dealing with a host of problems with the vehicle. I am very sorry we ever did business with this dealership.

I wasnt looking for a vehicle at this time. I got a flyer in the mail with a pickle card type scratch off. I usually dont fall for scams and can pick them out pretty easily but this one really looked legit. My scratch off said I won $2500. I read fine print and showed it to several people. They all thought it looked legit. I took it in and showed it to a salesman. He had me follow him to a table and immediately asked what type of vehicle I had and if I was in the market for a new one. I told him no and that I was just there to see if I won. After all, If I would have won $2500 from this company I would have definitely shopped there when it was time to buy one. They definitely would have had my business. Anyway, the salesman told me he would check my numbers and got up and went to the back. A different sales rep from California came up and tried to sell me a car. It took 25 minutes to even see if my number was a winner. I told the guy I was just there to see if I actually won. He told me "not many of these are winners" I asked him if it was then a marketing trick to get people in, which was my gut feeling. He said "yes". surprised he admitted it. I was finally told that I didnt win. He handed my a $5 Walmart card. I just laughed and left. Seems to me this is old style high pressure trickery that was used by used car salesmen years ago. I hate that. If Im looking for a car I will go. If you have a sale send me an advertisement that you are having a sale. Dont try to trick me into the door. Yes I know, if its too good to be true then it is but this is one of the most legit things I have seen and since it was a local business I thought I would check. I wont be giving them any of my business now. One tip. Dont screw with people and try to trick them into buying a new car. That in my opinion is sad.

I probably wouldnt buy here again. Like the other reviews stated, they are good at detailing and hiding flaws. They had the truck I wanted with very low mileage so I bought it. The sales guy was nice but he basically told me that everyone in the place profiled me as soon as I drove in driving my old POS with Iowa plates. He asked me immediately what my credit was like and how many bills I have etc. because he didnt want to mess with a deadbeat.. I cant blame him I guess but even after I told him I had my own financing he asked more credit related questions and I could tell he really didnt want me to drive the truck without pulling my credit first. I gave him the details of my financing and drove the truck. Youd have to expect the dealership would have a higher-than-value price because of the expenses they incur, but they barely budged on the price. No one seemed to believe I could get 2% financing on an older vehicle and they really didnt want the keys in my hand. Had to talk with the bank in front of them. They also wanted an outlandish amount of money to hold it 2 days for me. Any other reputable dealership would let you take the truck on an "extended test drive" for nothing but a firm handshake. Ive had a couple problems with the truck so far, but they are problems that a mechanic wouldnt have caught to start with. HOWEVER they have no mechanic on duty, the detail guy told me he quit just a week or so before I bought the truck. Good Detailer + No Mechanic = Bad Business.
