Today at 6:00 pm I got my prescription. I then went into the store to get some items. I went to pay and presented my cvs coupon. The lady at the front counter said "do you mind if I ask where you got this coupon". I honestly have never heard this question from a cvs employee and I have been going to this store from sometime. I said I do mind. Because I feel if you have a store coupon and youre buying groceries well above the coupon there shouldnt be an issue. I havent had an issue at any cvs until today. I told the cashier that I went to a cvs two days ago and bought nail polish. I honestly felt like she was judging me and felt like I was trying to pull a scam with a coupon?! She said well since you dont have a cvs card you cant use it. I said what?! Why not... This has never happened before. I asked the policy and she just left! She went and grabbed her manager. I was appalled that she couldnt handle the situation and explain to me the policies. Manger came and the cashier pointed at me and said "she wants to use a coupon and I told her she cant." She made me feel guilty for a coupon! I was livid and refrained from engaging with her anymore. I said keep the items I will purchase them somewhere else. I called the pharmacy and told them to transfer my prescription. I will not support cvs anymore with my business. I was humiliated and embarrassed. This cashier needs to understand that people might not understand the policy and instead of reprimanding a customer just explain the terms! Its sad I cant do my prescriptions there because it was convenient. But I will not take that treatment from a business. I asked why and I was belittled and treated very poorly.

Every time I go I am greeted with same miserable women who honestly looks and acts like shed rather spit on you then serve you. I get anxiety when I see her and know I cannot ask any questions or try to talk. When I got to check out I keep my eyes down and try to hurry. I feel bad when I have to type in my cvs number, I have said something to her before about yelling at me for being confused about the chip reader, I wonder if cvs just does this to deter people from coming. Like a hireing notice "if you hate your life and hate humanity and possibly boil puppies in your spare time work here." If you hate your job that much perhaps take up working in a slaughterhouse, or maybe be the guard who pulls the switch at electrocutions. I feel like the employees have many other options then working at cvs.

I switched from Walgreens to here when they first opened because they are in walking distance. Ive had so many issues with the pharmacy staff. They have messed up my prescriptions and shorted me at least once. They have not been open for more than a year, and two pharmacists have already quit. Im not sure if the pharmacist and the pharmacy staff are over worked, but I know they often have poor customer service skills. Their current full time pharmacist (blond, short hair) is terribly rude and in the wrong profession. Im returning to Walgreens. CVS FIRST CAPITOL owner, Marina, do something about your staff or hire more workers.

I switched from Walgreens to CVS and am very pleased with their service. Walgreens told me 3 different times my prescription was ready when it wasnt, and this is important medication. Their automated system would send me a message saying it was ready, Id drive 30 min to get there (same day), and they would have lost it. Not only has CVS gotten it right every time, they are extremely fast and friendly. Ive been using them for about a year now. They make it really easy and a pleasant experience.

Absolutely the most helpful, friendliest and most courteous people. They treat you like family. The girl that is complaining must work for Walgreens or just doesnt understand companies have policies in place. It was a simple question to start with in my opinion.
