Ive been going to GHTS since I started riding horses when I was 8, so just shy of 10 years. Ive never experienced anything but great service. You know that really weird thing you need that seems like wouldnt be carried in any store? Yeah, theyve got it. You need a million different colors of braiding bands? Got it. Need a weird chemical your vet recommended to help with something you didnt even know was a thing? Its there. And not to mention their enormous selection of new & used tack. Ive sold several saddles (and lots of other miscellaneous) through consignment and never had an issue, same with buying off of consignment. Lynn came out and fitted saddles to my horse, both new and used, and had very helpful advice on which would work best for me. I love it there, and any time I go out 44, I stop in. You should do the same, you wont be disappointed!

Our Poor ratings come from the same person... a person that has it out for us, for a reason we would not like to make public, they are no longer welcome in our shop. Golden Horseshoe is an outstanding store. I have shopped there for at least twenty years. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and best of all, knowledgeable. They wont allow anyone to work there who does not have extensive experience with horses and tack. You can ask them any question and they will find you an answer. I encourage you to go in and see for yourself. Dont be swayed by the one person giving a negative review. That person is clearly an idiot and I say that confidently without even knowing them.

Awesome customer service. If they dont have it they will get it for you. My husband and I have been there 3 times. All of the staff is friendy and knowledgeable. We are just getting into horses so we have a lot of questions. If they didnt have an answer they would find out for us. I have placed special orders with them and they are super easy to deal with. Their prices are fair and sometimes cheaper. They have so much tack and clothes that you need a few hours to spend there.

This has been my favourite tack shop in Missouri for a very long time. Great variety at great prices, and the staff is amazing. They will always be willing to help, whether its answering questions or spending fifteen minutes hunting down exactly what you want and need. Whenever Im in the area, I always drop by, even if its just to browse and make a wishlist. Only thing that could make it better would be online navigation store. Other than that, its perfect!

This shop was great! They have a HUGE selection of new and used tack crammed into every nook and cranny, and the girl there helped me find everything I needed- they even stayed fifteen minutes after closing to finish my halter plate! I cant wait to go back :)

I have been going there for many years, they have a lot of supplies and a great selection of tack. My only complaint is some of their items are priced a little bit too high. But overall, I love Golden Horseshoe.
