Such poor customer service here. No wonder the mall is not doing well. They dont have any care for the customers. We tried to attend a Kids Club event here and they didnt have enough space so children were sitting all over the floor hammering when they should have been at tables. We werent able to participate because of lack of room. The carousel was empty. We bought tickets for our toddlers but not our 10 month old. The man made us buy a ticket for the 10 month old who cant even sit on the ride and enjoy it. They also wouldnt let us stand next to our child. They followed us onto the ride and made us sit down behind them on a bench. This is crazy! I should be able to stand next to my 2 year old on the ride! It was about 98 degrees outside so we decided to let our children play in the play area by Sears. We got down there and 2 men told us the area was closed because they were changing light bulbs above it. Keep in mind that they have sky lights above it and many other lights so it didnt need to be changed during business hours. He told us to come back in a couple hours when they are done. Yeah right! How crazy to close down such an important area for kids when its this hot outside! The lights could have waited until after business hours or you could have done it before a bunch of children showed up for your afternoon event. Poor poor poor planning!

This is a typical suburban mall with a Macys, Sears, Dillards, and an AMC Movies. This mall was beautifully renovated Id say about 5-10 years ago, but some 1970s charm still does show. Lets just say the AMC Movies was the nicest and most modern wing of the mall, filled with stores. The Sears wing was the most empty wing of the mall. Maybe 5 stores, and it was just filled with mall walkers. The rest of the mall was a little under 3/4 full, which is average. The Macys looked newer, but Dillards and Sears still looked like it was 1973. The food court had good restaurants, and was very modern. The actual mall was a little dated. Old utilitary lights lit up the place. But every here and there, there was the more modern wooden Aztec lights, which were very cool. The stores in this mall wasnt great. If you are in the Chesterfield area, come here to be a mall walker. If you want to shop, go to the Galleria in Ladue. Im telling you this because this mall will be dead in 5 years.

The Former destination shopping mall for once county is a shell of its former self. Not that its falling apart or anything, but its got a huge amount of vacant stores and not a lot of business in the ones that are left. Like many other malls, this one is suffering from the change in shopping habits that is sending someone he people to strip centers instead. Its not that this is a bad mall, its not. It has still a decent selection of stores, some great restaurants including the cheesecake factory and California pizza kitchen, and a really nice theater with something like 14 screens and IMAX. It also has a Sears store that is usually so empty that you could roll a bowling ball through any of the aisles as well as a Macys and Dillards. Its pretty much everything a mall should be, but a retail concept that is past its prime. Other then on a Friday night or weekend, the good thing about all that is theres never a crowd there. Other times, you have to dodge the teenagers.

Its always been a fun mall to visit over the past years but its beginning to slowly die. I walked in yesterday and I was suprised to see four of the main stores in the middle of the mall closed and almost no people anywhere except for in the food court, mainly teenagers hanging out, and it was Friday night. As I walked around I saw about 10-15 empty store areas, which is a lot for this smaller mall. Dillards suffered a water main break in store and has been closed for almost 5 months and its hard to see them coming back from it. That would mean one less anchor store leaving only Macys and Sears, giving people another reason not to visit this mall. Its truly a shame

The variety of stores are good, but the bathroom situation is terrible. I have been there the first weekend of December 2014, around 2pm. The bathroom was crowded, and half of the stalls had no toilet paper or were clogged. I called the malls management number I could find on the internet, left 2 messages, never received a reply. On Monday Dec 29, 2014, I was there again, and the mall was much less crowded, still the bathroom had no toilet paper. I was there for quite a few hours each time, as I come from 2 hour drive away, but seldom see any cleaning crew anywhere. Cleaning is an issue at this mall.

I dont exactly know what happened to this mall, but a ton of storefronts are empty, and the locals stated its due mostly to these shops moving out to new developments elsewhere. So goes the indoor mall when progress happens I suppose, but for a mall that once was a bustling place, it now seems destined for failure as more stores shutter or move; and although the mall seemed clean otherwise, there didnt seem to be much of a reason to be there for long. Maybe things will turn around but until then, word to the wise: you probably have better options for a shopping destination.

What a sad state of existence, especially for those of us who know how crowded and bustling the mall was even just 2-3 years ago. Literally no stores worth going to that arent in either of the new outlet malls down the road, which I think are partly to blame for the malls struggles. Besides the AMC and Cheesecake Factory Id say you are honesty wasting your time, which is a shame. For me the icing on the cake was when Bread Co. got replaced by a restaurant called Dumplins, as at that point I knew there was no hope left for this once great mall.

I grew up going to this mall as a small toddler. My first date with my wife was here. Our kids grew up going to this mall when they were babies. Its sad to see how empty the mall is and the declining state that it is in. The past Christmas season was really bad st the mall. The Christmas decorations were only put up half way (they used to have a great Christmas atmosphere) and Id venture to say close to half the stores have closed and left. I hope a company buys this mall and flips it. Chesterfield Mall can still be a thriving place!

Used to be one of the best malls in the area, but its gone down hill. Really, the only decent mall left in the area is West County Mall. Chesterfield Mall has lost a lot of stores, including Saint Louis Bread Co. and Williams-Sonoma within the past couple months. The food court also lost its best restaurant, Fort Taco. Years ago, they had an Old Navy, Starbucks, and much more, but the encroachment of the new nearby outlet malls has poached a lot of those retailers. Now, the only reason I go to the mall is for the AMC IMAX.
