I went to purchase a commercial part for a door and waited 30 minutes to pay. I had to talk to a woman that had an office that looked like a doll house and had no brains. I also had to talk to Chewebaka a woman not sure if is a man lady that smelled like cigarettes. I looked around and this is the most unclean place there is. I could see dip spit everywhere. If you want to do business with a 20% markup and idiots to boot this is the place for you. Otherwise you should go to West, Lowes or Homo Depot. You might disagree with my statement, it was my experience. First and Last time shopping here. In Response: jc1257> I highly doubt the positive PR you are spinning will make anyone believe you.

I went in there to talk about trusses. Nate was very helpful in going over the various types and we decided what would work for me. He told me that he would call me the very next day after he got with the truss department and get me a quote for my trusses. Left a few messages- no call back. That turned into 2 weeks. I called on a Tuesday 8/4, asked for him and he promised he would call me by the end of the day with that quote. Told him I am running out of time and need to get these ordered. No problem he said. That was 6 days ago. I give up on doing business with this company. Apparently, they are too busy to respond to your quote requests or call you back.

I called to get a price for something. The lady who answered the phone said "ok" then immediately put me on hold. I waited on hold for 5 minutes before she came back on the phone to ask me "What are you holding for?" I told her that I needed a price on some lumber. And she responded with "Oh Ill remind him." And back on hold I went, I waited another 3-5 minutes. So someone may need to do alittle phone training.

My Husband and I have been dealing with Phillips for several years now. He goes in more frequently than me and it seems like he knows everybody in the store. I got my cabinets designed by them recently, and I guess I just didnt realise how much attention to the individual customer they pay. Wow. I will be doing more business with these people.
