I normally love Whole Foods. I live right around the corner in the neighborhood to this one and was very excited to see it open. The other reviews are obviously FAKE. This location doesnt even feel like a Whole Foods. Everything was done half hearted and poorly thought through. So much so that I fear the stories of Whole Foods being bought due to their financial troubles are nearly imminent. There are a lot of little things and big things that make this Whole Foods, in my mind, not really a Whole Foods. It seems they may have just put this up to fulfill some contractual obligations. Where to begin. The biggest mistake is the liquor store in front that is nearly the same size as the grocery store itself. Unlike the St. Paul store, that has great seating, that overlooks a trendy outside street; nearly all the seating here looks at a wall on one side and cash registers on the other. The liquor shop is the entire front of the store. I guess you could take your laptop in there? Also, the most useful seating that has power outlets for working on a laptop are placed right next to the cash registers without a divider wall for separation. Those seats are more decoration than function. Implying, "dont get too comfortable". The decimation caused by the giant liquor shop to the seating and the front of the store alone makes this Whole Foods nearly irredeemable. Unfortunately the disappointment does not end there. Almost every section is significantly reduced in size from what Ive seen in other stores (hey have to make room for the booze). But its not just the size; I remember when the Whole Foods in St. Paul was in a much smaller building. Yet, that tiny Whole Foods had more selection and character than this bland Cub-esque version. Every other store Ive been to has some sort of interesting layout. The aisles are arranged some way to give that Whole Foods feel. This Whole Foods is BORING. It has one layer of aisles that go from the front to the back, from left to right. Again, I think we may already be seeing the more traditional layouts in preparation for Whole Foods to be purchased by a more traditional grocery chain: *ahem, Krogers, ahem*. Little things: like putting the containers for pre-made food in just one location so I have to walk to find them if I see some hot food I want; those annoyances abound and are too numerous to list. People are not stupid. I think everyone feels these things after visiting this location and that is why, from what I can tell, few frequent this location. The "Tap Room" restaurant is a ghost town after 4pm. Im sure their corporate HQ will attribute the lack of success to the location and demographics (families with children). I have a family with children. I still want the things other Whole Foods stores have. Im not sure they care. In fact, this Whole Foods is a clear signal they are going through the motions on their way to a corporate buy out.

Was at this location on opening day. The produce section is was ok at best...... its about the size of my living room. Prices were a little heavy TBE at WF. Meat counter was disappointing. Seafood had a nice slab of salmon that I was looking at and no one was there to talk to me about it. Overall this looks like a store that is part of a failing company. Fancy outside, dont judge a book though. Thumbs down Whole Foods thumbs down.....

The store is near perfect, the only thing that would make it the best Whole Foods in MN is a Juice Bar like St Paul. Lose the clothing and move a few things around and add a juice bar please. The lady that I spoke with in the beer section was super friendly and knowledgeable, other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall Im very impressed. Brussels sprouts in the salad bar would be a big bonus...

Staff were not friendly and/or very helpful. I was looking for a specific item, and the woman I asked and the one who helped were rather rude (and even walked away from me). I would recommend River Market in Stillwater any day. I will not be returning to "Whole Paycheck," as it is often called, anytime soon. Id rather support a small business with standards.

The biggest one in Minnesota. Great staff! Great cafeteria style foods, amazing salad bar. Also they have a sit down restaurant the Tap Room with daily happy hours. Ex. Sat and Sun 3$ mimosas all day! The patio is beautiful and spacious. In this location they dont have a juice bar, but great espresso. You wont be disappointed.

A bit more pricey than other stores but the quality of food is wonderful. I like it because its an easy place to find vegan food supplies, but there is a beautiful meat and dairy section that my friends family have complemented as well, not to mention the great liquor section up front. It just feels right when I shop here.

Oh my this store is wonderful! I went by the open olive bar wanting to sample and just as I looked up a salesperson ask if I wanted to sample! Well I got 2 different kinds because of the kindness of salesperson helping me! Thank You for coming in my area of Twin Cities!

What happened to the proposed juice bar? Cold salad bar/lunch bar half the size of the St Paul and Edina location. Disappointing. Sandwich bar is all electronic, the sandwiches all made in secret behind a wall. Bad idea. Still love the quality produce and deli.

I personally found the (grand ? ) opening shy of lacking the passion and joy of opening a new branch through faces of most of the employees and the way things were organized on this day. Little disappointed but WF is WF. You like it, you cannot really complain.

Im very impressed with their vegetarian selection and very happy to see Quorn products. I purchased their Whole Foods branded tortilla chips (priced by pound - freshly made) and they truly taste DIVINE. They need to add the juice bar here though!

Beautiful new store, wide aisles, both organic and conventional options if you dont want to go "whole paycheck", nice breads. I look forward to trying out the patio. Well see who wins: both this new WF and Hy-Vee are only way home from work!

This Wholefoods wouldve received 5 stars but it gave us yet again another liquor section which we already have at Kowalskis & Trader Joes. What Wholefoods didnt give us is what neither of them have....THE JUICE BAR!!!!

This is brand new to Woodbury and in a great spot where the area is starting to be developed once again. The store was clean, the selection was great and all of the employees were friendly!

Lots of natural and organic foods to choose from. Hot bar has some excellent food choices. Bar with lots of craft beers and a patio to enjoy them on.

Brand new Whole Foods. Though some items are pricey, you can sometimes find good deals. Check out the mochi bar -- highly recommend!

First time to this store AND LAST! Had multiple items with mold.....for the money they charge their inventory should be fresh.
