This is a "10% over cost" type store, where they charge you what they paid for the items, plus a 10% charge (and tax). The prices here are not great, when compared to Walmart or Kroger. The main reason for going to Edwards Cash Saver is convenience, if you live in the Quapaw Quarter or the Governors Mansion areas of Little Rock. The staff is friendly and fun, but oftentimes not enough lanes are open and wait times can exceed ten minutes. As the surrounding area is not as well-to-do as other parts of Little Rock, it is not uncommon to be asked by a fellow customer to pay for his/her item or items. This happens to me almost every time I go, either outside the store or, more often, while Im standing in line.

Its a very basic grocery store. Its main fortes are meats (pork and chicken) prices. Id say they beat most other stores. The produce section is very sad, so I buy my produce at the Farmers Market on Saturday. FG also carries basic staples such as milk, fruit juice, etc... but their prices are not very competitive. I emphatically agree that I would never bring a shopping list and expect to find nearly 80% of what I want. We do need a better grocery store downtown Little Rock.

The produce is very low quality. They never have anything more than just the basics/staples that I need. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I have never gone there with a shopping list for a recipe and found every item that I needed. The only reason I even shop at Food Giant is because its so close to my house. Why cant we get a better grocery store in Downtown Little Rock?

Nice change to the store but one of the cashiers with the red in her hair tall-one, dark skin red and black hair every time I go down and she has an attitude about putting things in a bag because I live up the street and I want it where I can carry it

Horrible customer service. They all have attitudes and act like they hate their jobs. The manager was smug and not kind or helpful. If you can get to Kroger or Walmart, you will get better quality food, service, and prices.

Just baught some tuna and it made me a little nauseated. Turns out it was 8 months expired! If you shop here, check the dates our youll be sick to your stomach. I probably will never buy food from here again.

I really like Edwards Food Giant for the deals that you can find. Really its some of the best prices for food in town. The only complaint I have is that I have never had a short wait in line.

Its a run down dump of a grocery store. Very poor produce selection and quality. Terrible customer service, rude employees, and all around an unpleasant place to shop. Go anywhere else.
