Stopped in with my wife and kids who are 7 and 10. We were buying a couple bottles of wine for a dinner party my and they wouldnt sell us wine because my wife didnt have her ID with her. We are both late thirties and dont at all look under age at all. (i have grey hair already and my wife has had two kids and had cancer for what seemed like forever and looks totally played out but still somehow goodish, in a way, kind of, i guess she is a hot mess but could seriously use some work done. I said something once and she just cried for like 3 days. It isnt like we dont have the money for it and everyone is getting plastic surgery now. I mean not like meg ryan but you know someone good looking that had work done that didnt look like a monster afterward. I dont know what her problem is.) Besides that i was buying the wine not my wife or my kids. I asked if she was planing on carding my kids too and she was snotty. people please. Why is it that every other wine store in the world is better. Probably if your in woodbury just go to haskells on lake they have an excellent selection of wine and beer and people that are actual good at their job and surprisingly low prices even when compared to total bs.

I have enjoyed the prices and selection at this store since theyve opened. With that said, the last three times that I have shopped in the store, one of their associates has asked about what I am looking for and tried to steer me towards something different, even if I already had product in my cart. The first time was telling me to change from a Black Box wine in my cart to a different brand. The second time was suggesting I choose Tower vodka over Titos. And the third time was when I was buying various brands of flavored vodka and they suggested I try Veil brand. On this occasion, the Total Wine employee reached into my cart and started handling my selected product and applied a lot of pressure to switch to Veil. Even when I noted that Ive tried Veil in the past and prefer the other brands that I had, there was still pressure to switch. I am not sure what the rationale is for this kind of behavior, other than there is a goal to steer customers to product brands preferred by Total, which I assume are higher margin products. This type of behavior takes away from the customer experience and is flat-out annoying.

Horrible experience. Went in with my boyfriend while we were out running errands. Hes 22 and Im 20, when he went to buy his one bottle of wine they made me show my ID as well and humiliated me loudly before refusing to serve my boyfriend. I will never come back here. Didnt realize with all the children and obviously under 21 year olds me being there would be such a problem or I could have stayed in the car. she even called over her another employee when I asked why, who also proceeded to again very loudly embarrass me and say I need to leave and wouldnt sell to my boyfriend who is 22. Over a single bottle of wine which was for his new apartment not me. Not ever going back.

Beer, wine and liquor selection cant be topped. Unfortunately, they know this, and their prices for select brands are slightly higher than they should be. Looking for cheap beer or booze? This place is for you then. Craft beer singles however, are priced higher here than other smaller local places. But again, the selection is incredible. Another complaint I have is the freshness of the craft beer - because the selection and stock quantity is so high, lots of beer sits on the shelves for a very long period and time. Check the bottle dates, and if you have any doubt, skip it.

First Sunday open in MN and they ignore you for wine sales. Too much of an inconvenience to help you find what you want. MGM got the sale because the employees here either didnt know (3 of them) or the wine guy in his fancy shirt is too good for you... Unless youre a female with big..... or you look rich. I mean in all fairness they were doing everything they could to shuttle the customers out so they could close on time. Whats customer service if not an opportunity to pick up a date right?

Huge selection and great customer service. Stepping into Total Wine, if youre like me, its going to be overwhelming, luckily they have a very well trained staff that wont make you feel like an idiot when looking for a good wine to pair with whatever you want. Finding someone to help is easy too, I was very impressed! Price is on par with what youd expect to pay.

The selection is enormous. Managers are always seen walking around trying to help their staff and customer. Staff will go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we are taken care of. That place is always a mad house between staff restocking and customers. Prices are also the best.

The only liquor store to go to. They have more selection than all the stores nearby combined, It does have a warehouse box store feel but if you want a great deal on beer and spirits definitely go here. I find that i pay 25% to 40% less for items here than anywhere else.

I feel like Total Wine & More is my happy place you cant great deals on booze and liquor they have a huge selection of beer and hard cider theyll have more wine than Ive ever seen in my life all the employees are super friendly and theyre always there to help out

Poor customer service and management decisions. They did not behave professionally and we will not be returning. They would have ruined my friends wedding day but the vastly superior Lunds and Byerly was able to help at the last minute right across the street.

Huge, Huge selection. Not much of a drinker so it was nice to have helpful staff guide me. Everything is easy to find too, there are reviews up by staff by some of the bottles and award winning spirits are labeled on the shelves too

Amazing store with an insanely huge collection of all kinds of drinks. Its easy to get lost in here for a while. They also have free weekly wine tasting sessions which are great for discovering different varieties of wine.

I generally dont shop at these large chain stores (despite their low prices) because I try to support the local shops, but I can always find what Im looking for here the the local shops dont have what Im looking for.

Great wine selection, the beer selection is also pretty overwhelming. Ratings on the wines and beer are pretty useful. Can get pretty busy on a Friday or Saturday night. Probably about the lowest prices youll find.

Well lit, very clean store with a vast selection. The staff is very quick to assist and definitely knows the layout which helps you find what you are looking for. Very good prices and again, great selection!

Clean store. Outstanding prices. Defiantly will check ID! My drivers licence had just expired and when they scanned the bar code they told me they could not sell me anything with that identification.
