I was in need of a new pair of walking and running shoes. I stopped into Gear and an associate helped me determine what the best kind of shoe for me. The woman was able to accurately tell what I needed by watching me walk. I apparently have a medium/low arch and a mild pronation. After we figured out what I needed, I offered the associate $10 and told her I had no intentions of buying a shoe there; I only wanted their expertise. She declined my offering and I left. If you are in need of fine expertise and a good selection of running shoes, consider giving GEAR a go.

Staff was great. Made good recommendations. Seemed very knowledgeable about their products. I like that they let you actually take a test jog in their shoes. The shoes I ended up getting were the same price at the store as they would have been had I bought online. So price is also competitive, which isnt always the case for brick and mortar stores. Overall great experience, will go back when I need a new pair of running shoes.

I have been battling to find shoes for my feet and the staff here have been incredible. I bought a pair recently and they mentioned that if they dont work to bring them back as they want me to be happy with my purchase. I put my new shoes on today and alas my feet issue is still there but I am so thankful and relieved that I can go in and work with them to find an alternative - this great peace of mind is so valuable.

Podiatrist recommended a specific type of running shoe for me, so I called ahead to make sure they had that kind. When I got to the store, they had set aside 4 different pairs of shoes in my size. They helped me past when they closed and were extremely helpful and knowledgable. Ill come to this store from now on for all the running gear I need. And its great to support a local, family-owned business.

I have come to this store time and time again I always get great service and they know me by name! I was looking for a new running shoe and they are honest, and patient with someone who is trying to find a new shoe. I have been running for years and havent found a store where the people are as welcoming and friendly as this one. I highly recommend for new and experienced runners.

Incredible knowledge of running, outstanding customer service, huge community advocate and overall just nice people. Paul and his group will go out of their way to accommodate your needs/wants and will get to know you and your running style to best help you. Bottom line, if you ever need running stuff whether its shoes, apparel, tips or people to run with, GEAR is your best bet.

One of the only LRSs that allows you to take the shoes outside for a test run coupled with a great exchange policy. The level of service is great and their staff was very helpful. I believe they are under new ownership, and from what I can tell the new owners are experienced running enthusiasts!
