I would caution any bride or bridesmaid to think again prior to choosing Flutter Boutique. The service was sub-par, dresses claim to be "custom" yet are ordered in normal dress sizes, and they will not return or even exchange any products. I live accross the country and was unable to make it to the store for a fitting. I was fitted by a seamstress locally and sent my measurements in. I was in between sizes and when my dress came it was 5 inches too small in the bust - everywhere else fit well (which begs the question - what in the world kind of sizing are the producers of their dresses utilizing?!). When I called the boutique asking for a solution, they said they wouldnt exchange or return the dress AND couldnt guarantee a new dress OR additional fabric to arrive in time for the wedding (in fact it would be over a month late). What kind of service or solution is that? When I second guessed them and said I couldnt possibly be their only client who has ordered an ill-fitted dress who live accross the country, I received no response. The attitude of the manager and associates were disgraceful and helpless. Furthermore, they wouldnt ship the dress directly to me, it had to be shipped to the store and then to me (I was charged an assinine amount for shipping costs). All this to say, I was extraordinarily disappointed with the service and product Flutter Boutique offers. If youre considering them, Id strongly suggest otherwise especially if anyone in the party is unable to be fitted at the store. And bridesmaids, even if your bride suggests it, go elsewhere. Ive spoken to many former bridesmaids about this experience and most are absolutely shocked (not that the dress didnt fit, evidently most run extremely small, but that they werent able to provide a single worthwhile solution).

I recently purchased my Theia Couture gown from Flutter Boutique and it was a terrible experience. When I went to pick it up it had a black stain on the front, beads were missing, a bead had a red dot on it right in the front and they told me to spin the bead around and itd be fine, and the dress felt super stretched out.. I traveled 4 hours round trip to shop Flutter because of their good reviews and was told I had to come all the way back to pick up a new one (no discount, nothing).. There is no reason they shouldnt have caught the stain, etc before I went to pick it up. Then I saw on their instagram and facebook (posted 2 weeks prior to me picking it up) that my dress was ready in their shop for brides to come try on, but when I had gone to pick it up they said that nobody else would have my dress because it wasnt available as a sample yet.. Ahh what??! Then why was my dress on their facebook and instagram for others to try on?? Well they admitted that they thought it was a sample dress before they figured out it was my wedding dress and they still tried to give me it!!! After they had had brides try it on!!!!! Its outrageous!! I would NEVER recommend Flutter Boutique to anybody. It was super shady of them to do this. To top it all off, I had commented on the instagram picture of my dress asking why they had it and they quick deleted the whole picture off of there. Do NOT shop at Flutter Boutique there are plenty of other GREAT dress shops that you can find "the one" at.. Flutter Boutique is not a trustworthy business.

Awful. If I could put zero stars I would. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding, and I was very excited about getting our bridesmaid dresses from here. We all went together to get measured and pick out the style we wanted, and the consult measured each of us and provided her recommendations for sizes. She highly recommended that I get a size 2, but that seemed extremely small, so I ordered a size 4. However, when I got the dress it barely zipped and the fabric was pulling significant in the butt and hip area. I was incredibly disappointed, and shocked given that I ordered a size up than what she recommended. I fortunately saved my receipt which had my measurements recorded, and I saw that she put down 25 inches for my waist...which seemed pretty much impossible for me. So I went to a different bridal store and was measured, and confirmed that my measurements were indeed incorrect. The owner still would not budge on helping me find another option for a dress. Fortunately a different bridal store sold me a sample bridesmaid dress and we made it work. I was shocked at their poor customer service, and would highly discourage any future bride from using them. It is obvious they have issues measuring, and disappointing they will not admit their mistake and help someone out with only two weeks until the wedding...especially when they received business from all 8 of us bridesmaids. There are so many other awesome bridal stores in the Twin Cities, that have wonderful consultants and customer service..this is NOT one.

I attended a Sample Sale at Flutter Boutique that I was told about after calling the store to book an appointment to try on wedding dresses. I decided to attend the sale and check out the store before making an appointment. I am so glad that I did this because I was horribly offended by the treatment that I received while in the store. I suppose this is a great wedding shop for those that are "high falootin", upscale and super trendy. The owner looked at us as if we were trash and made a lot of assumptions. It is very clear that the reason that the store continues to receive high ratings is because of the swanky, sheik decor and the vibe of the layout of the store. It is also not a secret that they are well known in the wedding community and "know people". If you dont look a certain way or if they believe you cant afford what they are selling, do NOT go there even for the experience. This is Minnesota not New York. We were both offended by the assumptions and the stares that we received - we were shocked. I will say that this is the first review that I have ever written, good, bad or indifferent. I felt so horrible after leaving that store that I felt compelled to inform people. For most that will go there, Im sure that they will be treated well but for some others it will be the same experience that we were riddled with.

I cant say enough good things about Flutter! I had THE best experience there, hands-down. Sarah (who sadly doesnt work there anymore, but the rest of the ladies are equally awesome) gave us SUCH a wonderful experience and truly exceptional customer service. She was so good at helping me define my style, and finding dresses or adding touches to dresses that really made them perfect. She did a masterful job being helpful about the different dresses, but not pushy - helping me figure out what I liked, but not trying to TELL me what I liked :) She wasnt at all trying to make a sale, truly just trying to help me find the perfect wedding dress for me. The private room they put us in made the whole experience feel even more special. I ended up finding the perfect dress at Flutter and am so happy with their service! I would recommend Flutter to ANYONE. Such a cute shop, incredible customer service, great selection of unique dresses at pricepoints that wont break your budget. If you go anywhere for dress shopping, GO HERE! :)
