Carl is a rock star and will work around his schedule to make it happen. He invests in the process and takes ownership of his work. Reading the other reviews I want to point out that Carl is all on his own now and does not entertain other artists at this time, because of his attention to the details and does not want others lack of professionalism to bring down his quality. I met Carl as a tattoo artist and I now call him friend, because of his investment.

first and formost, carl is an excellent tattoo artist! But he is unprofessional, talks to much about his personal life and what he does in his free time, asked too many personal and sexual questions even called himself "harmless pervert" during time spent here getting work done. ladies should bring your friend while getting work done.

Carls the best. I had my first tattoo done in his moms basement and the rest at his Anoka shop. Happy to hear he "cleaned house" and is back on his own and the babysitting is done. If u had a bad experience, give him another try, Carl is truly amazing!

Carl is an amazing artist Ive wanted a tattoo for 15 years but was afraid to try it. Thanks to Carl I now have 4 and have another picked out. I wouldnt have anyone else work on me.

Dont go to this shop. The artists are hacks! Yes, the shop is clean and well organized but the artists are not very good. Youll wind up with a tat that looks like crap.
