My iPhone had been indicating that I had an issue with my SIM card and had stopped working occasionally. I would fix this by resetting the phone and would generally be ok for several more weeks. Today I had a few minutes so at approximately 2:30 pm, I stopped into the ATT store on Haggerty Road in West Bloomfield today to get a new SIM card for my phone. I was assisted by a customer service rep named Jacob. After explaining the problem, Jacob scanned my drivers license and then took out a stack of SIM cards from a pouch hanging from his belt. He looked through his stack of cards and did not have the appropriate SIM card for my iPhone. He asked the other reps in the store and none of them had the proper SIM card in their pouches either. Jacob excused himself and returned about 10 minutes later with a SIM card, which he exchanged with the one in my phone. Upon doing so, my phone then said NO SIM. Jacob told me that it was a hardware problem and I would have to go to the apple store to exchange my phone for a new one under warranty. I asked him just to put the old one back so my phone would work again and he refused, indicating that he couldnt undo the problem he had just created for me. I promptly headed over to the apple store at 12 oaks in Novi, MI and was greeted promptly. I was assisted by a very helpful genius bar associate who gladly replaced my phone hardware. After doing so, the new phone still said "NO SIM." The apple rep graciously allowed me to keep the new phone but sent me to the ATT store in the 12 Oaks mall downstairs. They quickly replaced the card and my phone began working again. Both the Apple store and the 12 Oaks ATT store indicated that Jacob from the Haggerty store installed a bad SIM in my phone which was the cause of my phone to stop working. At 5:00 pm, I walked out of the 12 Oaks mall with a new iPhone working again properly. I stopped back at the Haggerty ATT store to let Jacob know that he installed a bad SIM card in my phone, sharing with him that I wasted 2.5 hours unnecessarily. I was no rude nor did I display any kind of behavior to warrant the unsolicited response from the manager on duty "We cant know if a SIM is bad." Ive tried to report this matter to ATT customer service without success. Do yourself a favor and avoid the ATT store on Haggerty Road in West Bloomfield.

The first time we went there 3 years ago to sign up for new iphone 4s, they gave us 4 lines instead of 2 which we didnt find out until our first bill. Later sharing my experience with ATT Customer Service, they said they knew of retailers doing this to boost their numbers. Two years ago when we were switching to the iphone 5s, we told them we wanted to keep a low monthly rate but didnt want to be in the NEXT program, since we didnt want to lease our phones. The lady who helped us said that we werent in the NEXT program but was able to keep our monthly rate down. We signed and left trusting her word. A year later, we went into the store looking to upgrade and lower our bill, and they said we would have to pay since we were signed up for the NEXT program. We pulled out the receipt and noticed they did sign us up for the NEXT program even when we asked them not to - and theres nothing we can do about it now. The guy who was working there said he could lower our monthly bill if we signed up for ATT Home Security. I told him we werent interested, and he kept insisting that thats the only way he could lower our monthly bill. 2 months ago, my wife went with our new born son to look at the Samsung S6, and she said that one of the employees stood and watched her struggle with the stroller and the door without helping. The people who work there lack common sense and customer service. They need to get better staffing who at least care about other people rather than themselves.

These guys absolutely lied to get me to buy a new phone. Promised over and over again that my bill would not be any larger than my current bill, just received my first bill and it was $40 more!! AT&Ts customer service is fantastic and fixed the issue but the sales men at the store fed me a bunch of bull and I had to go back 3 times for 3 different issues for them to fix them and spent 3+ hours on the phone with AT&T to get everything correct. AT&T is great just go to a different store location!!!

Blake was extremely helpful with getting our AT&T services set up. Explaining everything in detail, accurate price estimates and everything in between. After being on the phone with AT&Ts bad customer support for hours on end, to say his service was good is a far understatement. He was able to combine deals because of our scenario and we now pay less than our Sprint bill and we still have top of the line phones! Would reccomend Blake or this store any day of the week. Amazing service!

Last two times weve gone here, the people have been great... The time before though, I asked if they had a specific phone on hand and was told no and that Id have to wait 4-6 weeks for it to come in. The next time I went in (3 days later for a different reason), I was told by a different person that they had a bunch of the same phone and didnt get in a recent shipment... Hit or miss on lazy workers I guess.

Don’t go there! The customer service is absolutely terrible. The main manager of the store is extremely unprofessional. They do not care about you or any issues you may have. Most importantly Directv is terrible. Our service goes out all the time. Sunday Ticket is not worth it. Unfortunately, we cannot get out of our contact for two years. Get Xfinity, it is much better!

This store put out side big sign say we have iphone 4s so people stop there but its all lies and the worker there are bunch of liars saying we can order it, I wonder why att open this store and waist there money on bunch of liars. I will avoid going there and advice any one not to go there

Hopeless customer service. I went there to start a new plan and said my ssn was invalid while I work for full time. Unprofessional. I agree please visit another location. Took them 2 days I had to go back and forth to start a new line.
