There were 2 cashiers. 1 had 2 ladies with 2 carts full of items. I went to the shorter line and a bigger older woman told me she was closed. I had 4 items. She and a younger male went to the back and left Stephanie by herself with a line of customers. When it was finally my turn I noticed she had 7 or 8 people in line behind me down the aisle. She called for assistance. The bigger older lady came back out and asked Stephanie what she needed. HELP!! She needed help!! The bigger lady went to the other register and I noticed a lady from the back of the line move towards her register. She called out "I cant help you". Nope she could not help anyone in line. She said it was shift change and the only reason she was out there was because she was waiting for Stephanie to get there. Ive worked retail for 20 years, 15 if those as management and I would NEVER leave an employee on the floor by themselves especially if there were customers to be serviced. Stephanie did a wonderful job keeping herself calm. The bigger older lady needs a refresher lesson in customer service and a reprimand. I was there at 5:30pm on 9/12/17.

The "manager" (for 13 Years, she said), that I had never seen in the store anytime I had gone into this dollar tree after hobby lobby or Joanns fabrics in the plaza. Was the rudest employee at ANY store I have ever been into. I will drive to the ecorse, or Allen rd dollar tree before I ever return to this dollar tree. She was so rude as an employee, I do not know how she became a manager, the dollar tree company must be short on employees, or properly training their "managers " in customer service. Hopefully she is no longer working there for customers sake after I complained to the dollar tree corporation about her. Made sure to take down her name as well that evening.

Friendly staff, always greet you when first enter the store. Great deals , great products and always well stock. I live in Southfield and I drive to this store purchase items, I love this store!

There were at least 30 people standing in line and only 1 cashier. Smh. Never going back to this one. Even if someone called in sick the supervisor should have been helping.
