They completely botched up the tire balancing. Car began to shake almost out of control over 40 mph. Very Disappointed. Lot of inconvenience and waste of time, and concern for driving shaky vehicle. I had to drive several hundred miles before I could get it back to the store. Talked with the manager, and he refused to acknowledge that they did the balancing, which was untrue. Dishonesty? So completely washed their hands of the "error" or whatever that happened. We know that they want to sell lots of tires. Redid the wheel balance, and all four tires were way off, and the fronts were so bad that the tech was also shocked. The paper work, restated that , they did not do any "balancing", (untrue) just few days ago. But the Techs remembered that they did the balancing. Wow! New paper work added a line that says, "re-balancing" this time. Figure it out. What is going on? Just watch out for yourself at this place, and be on your toes.

I have been going here for many years. On my last visit I lost my trust in them. Got 2 new tires mounted and balanced. The following day while I was at work one of the new tires went flat. Took it back to Discount Tire and was told that they could not guarantee the seal on the tire because of chrosion on the rim. I kept asking why this was not caught yesterday? I should have never walked out of there if it was a questionable seal. I couldnt get an answer at all. This is when I really lost all my trust in them - they kept trying to get me to buy some new rims. I felt pushed into a decision I did not feel comfortable with. I told them NO and to reseal it and put it back on and I would see how it went. It has been over a month and I have not had to add any air to that tire. Bottom line is - they are there to make sales - they really could care less about anything else. I wont be going back.

Excellent customer service and great attitude of all staff. Ive been getting my tires from Discount Tire for years and have always been satisfied however, once I experienced the store atmosphere at this particular Discount Tire, I will never go anywhere else. I have had incredible customer service experience with staff of all levels. The manager, Earl, seems to go out if his way to greet and interact with every customer in the showroom. Feels like a friend is taking care of you. Last time I was in, I had all four of my sons and my little guys got bored. He noticed it and brought them paper and pen so we could play hang man. Theyre very busy, which I regard as good because that means people trust them and go see them for the same reasons I do. They are honest, friendly and take good care of people.

Terrible. Do not go here for a tire unless you want to be lied to about what happened to it. The mechanics ruined my tire, and it wasnt until I caused such a large stink that the manager had to step in to replace it for free, which is what should have happened from the start. Then the manager himself gave me a HUGE attitude, as if it was my fault they ruined my tire, and that he had to replace it. Never again. They are only a rip off auto "shop" trying to take your money. Do NOT go here. There are better places across the street, that will match, and beat their prices, along with showing you real respect. Dont even waste your time here, they are just scam artists.

Ive been coming to this location for five years and service continues to decline. Two weeks, ago my wife got a flat tire and took the car in. They replaced the tire and my wife told them the low tire pressure indicator was on. They told her the indicator would go off when she starts to drive. After a week it was still on so I checked tire and low and behold it was at 12 psi. I put air into the tire and monitored it for a few days and the pressure was down again. So today, I took the car in to check for a slow leak and I sat there for over an hour and half as people that arrived after me came in had their car serviced and left. Never again

Just went there today. I guess I expected that I would get the usual hard sell to spend more money. But I was really impressed by how they helped me choose a set on the cheaper end and assured me that it would fulfill my expectations without trying to make me feel guilty for being frugal. Then, while I was sitting in their waiting room, I was more or less eavesdropping on their conversations with other customers out of boredom - and I must say, I think Id rather work with these guys than my current coworkers. Long story short, I would go back any day and wouldnt hesitate to recommend this location to family or even friends lol.

Horrible store, they have a bunch of kids working here who dont understand how to manage time and make promises they cant keep. You will save maybe 3 bucks a tire from belle tires pricing, its not worth waiting half a day for them to switch tires. They also take no fault even when they promise you the car will be done when you have an appointment set. Stay away and save time. Positive reviews are obviously from employees, nobody is ever happy about coming to this store. They also are on the phones forever while they have 10 customers in line, but what can you expect from guys who change tires for a living......

No one enjoys car repairs, but for me the worst part was always feeling out of place in a "car stuff store". I know a fair amount about cars but Im no expert and unlike most places, the Livonia Discount Tire made me feel really comfortable. It was like shopping anywhere else, the sales people were really nice and helpful, they gave me bottled water and a clean, comfy place to sit with a window so I could watch my car being worked on. They talked to me like a real person and the work was done quite quickly. All-in-all a thoroughly positive experience.

This place is excellent! I had new tires put on My lincoln, the lug nuts were not tightened properly and ended up coming loose! Im disabled and unable to tighten the lug nuts myself! They paid for my vehicle to be towed to there store, inspected my vehicle to make sure no damage occurred and tightened lug nuts! I am so appreciative to this discount store team, I would have never made it to my friends wedding if they didnt take these actions! I would highly recommended this store to anybody! THANKS AGAIN DISCOUNT TIRE TEAM LIVONIA MI!

About 6 months ago I needed two cheap ties for a car I was selling. Their "competitor" had a lower advertised price but didnt have the tires in stock. They tried to sell me two tires at $138 ea. Discount Tire got me out the door for about $140 for both. Today they fixed a punctured tire, mounted it and checked the air pressure in the other tires for FREE, and I was back on the road in 45 minutes. Amber and Ryan were great, and they guys in the bays were working non-stop. I wont go anywhere else for wheels and tires.
