I dont know why I keep giving this stupid walmart second chances…probably because its right across the street and location-wise its super convenient, however, every time I go, I dont just have an "okay" experience it is ALWAYS miserable! But I keep telling myself oh I just need something quick, Ill just be in and out. Well that never happens. Let me tell you about the last experience I had that just put me over the top and will forever end my relationship with this horrifying walmart. I walk in around 9am. Its not busy at all. I proceed to get a cart because I have a one-year old and cant very well shop while holding her in my arms while toting around my three year old. So I pull cart after cart out to find none of them have buckles, they are all broken or missing. I pulled out about 15 carts. Now the front of the store is a mess because of all the unusable carts. Im pissed and think to myself…WHY?! Why did I come here? I head to Customer Service to tell them Im upset that I have to go through 15 carts to find one with a buckle…clearly Walmart is making enough money to replace broken buckles, right? The girl at customer service gives me a really snarky and annoying response. Which is right on par with the horrible customer service that is given to me each and every time I frequent this store. So no surprise. I move on. Head to produce. Its early like I said. Things should be well stocked…right? Wrong. All the bananas are bruised and over-ripe. Salad bags are picked over and what few are there look like they have gone bad. Boo, fail! Get the rest of my groceries and head to check out. There are 3 lanes open with no customers for 20 items or less but Im told I cant go there. So I go to the regular lane and am behind one person, she has a few items I think it *should* go fast, right?! Wrong again. I look at my watch its 9:15. I watch as the cashier sits there and shoots the breeze with the lady in front of me (I think she was also an employee) she s-l-o-w-l-y puts on some latex gloves?! Okay, whatever, everyone has their issues. She takes one item and even more s-l----o--------w--------------l-----------------y scans them. Then double bags every thing at turtle speed while still shooting the $$it with chica in front of me. The transaction is **FINALLY** complete but oh they still have a lot to talk about. Theres no rush, theres no hurry. The conversation about the weather is totally necessary!! Meanwhile Ive got toddler running around and baby trying to climb out of the cart while Im wrestling her…but please, continue your conversation! I look at my watch again 9:25. I waited in line behind ONE person with maybe 20 items for 10 minutes and none of the other cashiers over in the 20 items or less lane felt like "Hey maybe since we arent doing anything and that lady is just waiting over there, maybe we could get her checked out really quick." Nope none of that. When it was finally my turn the cashier didnt even greet me just proceeded at the same horribly slow pace. And by the time everything is said and done Im out the door at 9:30. What should have been a 10 minute trip TOPS turned into a 30 minute nightmare. Well Im happy to say my relationship with Walmart is over. I will be heading to Kroger on 5 mile from now on. Where there are happy, kind people ready to help and get you checked out in a timely manner!! Please take my advice and never go here!!!! Ever…never, EVER!! Youve been warned!

I have been to this store only a handful of times. There is often a lot of criticism surrounding Walmart stores, and this place appeared to be no different. I was here with my brother while he was looking for a car cigarette outlet button, wooden glue, and duct tape. The first thing I took note of as I walked in was how aged this store seemed to be; a door near the main entrance was really scratched up and looked as if though it had not been cleaned/replaced since the store first opened a few years ago. Among other things I saw in regards to cleanliness included a stained, uncleaned paint stain on part of the concrete floor. The rest of the stuff, though, looked pretty clean. Many of the products here are of fair enough quality. In most cases, items are imported from other countries, but there are some things made in the USA. Everything was almost easy to find, but I was kind of annoyed that there were little signs telling you what kind of item was in which aisle (in other words, you would have to look at the ceiling signs instead of signs generally mounted outside each aisle for convenience). My biggest concern for this store would have to be customer service. We arrived a little before 10am, and as we walked through the different sections, I was surprised to see how understaffed many departments were. In fact, some sections had no employees manning them at all. With respect, the store was not as busy this early, but it feels inconveniencing that if we were looking for help, we could not find anyone or the right person with which to guide us. Speaking of help, we were not assisted by any of the staff there until we made it to check-out, buying nothing but a bottle of vitamin water for my brother. The lady at the register was okay, but didnt seem all that interested or happy. In the end, this was not the best experience I have had with a Walmart store. It looks notably deteriorated, and the staff did not help matters too much. If I was my brother, I would probably go somewhere else.

I just got back from this dump 8/4/2015. I was waiting in line to get lunch meat at 820pm and there were two people standing there doing nothing. I asked for 1 lb of chicken breast and 1 lb of cheese. The hood rat behind the deli counter said "I got you, Ill hook you up". He then goes into the back and never returns. The lights get shutoff behind the counter and Im left standing there for 15 minutes. A woman with poor english says "oh we close, we close" I said what time do you close at? She says 9 oclock. I said its 845 and the guy just took my deli order, where is he? She then says again "we close, we close". I said that there is still 15 minutes left and that I would like to purchase some lunch meat. (note: I already have around $200 worth of food in my cart) she said all the machines have been cleaned. I look at the machines and they still have the blades on them with meat hanging off bottom. I looked at her and laughed. She went into he back and never returned. I was so tempted to ask for the manager and then thought what would the manager do? He or she is the one who hired the pieces of trash. Its pretty funny. Im in Livonia and it looks like Im walking into a Walmart in Detroit. This place is filthy and the people who work there cant even speak english. I cant believe these hood rats want $15 per hour. FILTHY I have to take a quick shower.
