The pharmacy is very disorganized, I brought in a new prescription (compound) I understand that it takes about a week to get the medications and then process the formula. They told me that they were not sure when it would be done and to check back, I stopped by (I live out of town) three times all three times it was not ready, I called and they told me that it would be done on Saturday, I stopped by early afternoon Saturday and it was not ready, they said that they would call me. They called me 5 minutes before closing said it was ready. I was unable to get there in time so I arrived 9:30 Monday morning, the pharmacist was not there yet ( he was late and they hadnt heard from him as to when he would be in) so I could not pick it up. I called later that afternoon to find out that it wasnt ready, the pharmacist was extremely rude to me, said that I wouldnt want to pay for it anyway as my insurance wouldnt cover it, and that it takes lots of time to fill this, I told him that I understood that and planned to pay for it I just needed it right away. It finally was done over a week from when I brought the prescription to them. Now I need a refill and I am getting the same run around, no definite day as to when it will be ready "when will it be ready?" "in a few days" "can you find out what a few days means?" "we will call you when it is done". Five days later I call them as I was told when I picked up the first time that refills go much quicker now that they have all the info in the computer. "is it ready?" "no" "can you check to see when it will be ready" "in two or three days" "I only have one or two at most doses left" "well there are only two of them working" "it sounds like I my refill has been put on the back burner," I can not go through this aggravation every month I plan to move my prescription to another pharmacy. Extremely disappointed as I really like the idea of supporting businesss in Lapeer.

The staff at Rogers Pharmacy is very caring and helpful. It is great having a pharmacy downtown Lapeer again, where you walk in and they know you. The wait for your prescription is a short wait, unlike the chain stores where you have to wait 1/2 hour or sometimes hours. Parking is close and free even with the parking meters on the side street. You just need to turn the knob and it gives you free minutes. I highly recommend Jason Rogers and his staff for your prescription needs. J. Smith

This used to be a wonderful pharmacy to have downtown. Over the past few years, it has steadily declined. There has been a lot of employee turnover which has led to many, many mistakes. Recently, my prescription was even given to the wrong person and it took the technician 2 days to fix the error. I never even received an apology from the owner.
