I used to go to this cafe since 2001, when we just settled in the area. Now Im making 20+ miles to get to this Starbucks only because I love downtown Farmington where I spent my most beautiful years. Today it was one of those rare days then at 12pm the place had very few customers in this Starbucks location. So I was standing in the line behind a mom and her daughter and a lady. After quite a wait I decided to time the barista, because I had a feeling Im waiting too long. So. It was four baristas behind the counter: three girls and a guy. The guy was on the register, the person who looked being in charge were chatting with baristas and then hid in that small room in the left. Two other girls were looking new to work or may be just slow. I ordered espresso solo and a grande latte. Mom with daughter who were in front of me got their drinks in 15(!) minutes after placing the order. Ive got mine in 20 minutes after placing the order. Let me spell it out for you: FOUR baristas = TWENTY minutes to get espresso and a latte. I didnt count time I was waiting in line. Ill open a little secret to you: I used to work as a Starbucks manager and my customers never waited more then 3 min, NEVER. I didnt like todays experience. Hopefully, its just poor management, not the staff laziness, but I cant tell for sure.

Today I noticed something that is a complete disregard to customer safety and absolutely no care or courtesy towards paying customer. I was sitting on a table doing my work and right in front of me a lady fell flat on her face due to a carpet a the entrance of the store that can catch the feet and trip people over. The most inhuman thing I saw was that when the lady fell flat on her face the baristas (Some girl named inthihar and one more white woman with short hair and specs) just stood there laughing and chatting with their customers behind the counter and did not even bother to help the customer up. It was with the help of completely customers that the lady stood up and some one gave her a chair to sit on. All this while the 2 Baristas (Name Ms. Inthihar and one more) just stood there and did not bother to care for the hurting customer. Inhumane, disgusting and completely fire able behavior.

Traveling for work had taken me to many Starbucks locations, some of which clearly shine out above others both esthetically and in terms of customer service. That said after viewing some of the low ratings for this location I must tell other Starbucks customers this location really is a little gem. Customer service is top tier and you will find its location in downtown Farmington quite pleasing in terms of local flavor, you might even get lucky and find a live concert going on in the pavilion across the parking lot. If a little comfort is your aim to get some work done, kick your feet up on the couch they wont mind.

Im a regular starbucks drinker. While the coffee at this starbucks is the same as the others there are 2 big issues for me. First, the internet is flaky. It goes in and out regularly. This gets really annoying. Second, I prefer to use real mugs when I stay in the store for a coffee. Yet, they dont have mugs in the larger sizes but the first time i asked for a large size in a mug they charged me full price and gave me a smaller mug. From then on I requested the smaller size but often they dont even have one of those clean. The other starbucks in the area dont seem to suffer from these same problems.

I had been going to this location since 1998. The service had highs and lows throughout the last 17 years. The most recent management change has brought this location down to the lowest grade of service I have seen. Every order my family places (I no longer buy anything from here) either ends with an incorrect drink, long wait times, poor customer service or a combination of things. The only positive thing I can say, is that a couple of the morning shift baristas (from previous management) are still there. That is the only reason I gave two stars as opposed to one.

If you need Starbucks coffee go here, if you need a place to meet someone dont go here. Its very crowded, busy and not a lot of seating options/ number of people. Many times Ive found empty tables but all the chairs were being used at other tables. I just left there and walked across the pavilion to Big Apple Bagel. Im here now and the coffee is excellent, Im having a pumpernickel bagel, the wifi isnt as crowded and they have real tables (not coffee house circular style)

Im from out of town and rolled through to get my coffee fix. The person who was taking my order was extremely polite and patient while I decided which drink to order. They were out of my favorite sandwich but did help me find an alternative to enjoy. When I got to the window to pay they gave me a cookie for, "being so nice." This wasnt necessary whatsoever.

This SB is positioned in a really good location, making it a good place for working, meeting, reading, or catching some downtime alone. Its usually quite busy too. Theres outdoor seating and its perfect since the site offers pleasant views. Enjoyable stop day or night; its open til 10:30 and you can get some shopping done in the same plaza if needed.

with the exception of a certain slow female on the pm shift, this is the best one Ive been to. I am a little biased though, Im a 8am regular and Joe, Melissa and the other girls always take care of me. they know my name, my drink and that my time is valuable. nice lite chit chat, but no time to talk, Im off to the races after all.

A decent place to get a coffee. (Apart from Sunflour across the street, it is the only cafe-style place to get coffee downtown). However, if Sunflour is open I recommend going there. The coffee is good, the pastries are better than Sbux, and its a local Farmington business.

Batistas are friendly and polite. I dont love all of Starbucks roast I tend to find them a little "burnt", but I think if you stay towards their lighter roast coffees youll be fine. Good place to set up and get some work done.

Was here last Saturday night and everyone was asked to leave at 10:40. The guy said they "closed" 10 minutes ago yet when you google their hours it says they are open till 11:30 on Saturdays. Will drink my coffee elsewhere.

It is just another Starbucks place. Lines are slow. The only thing that makes it stand apart is the location. You will have a good time if you happen to be here during the festive weekends in summer.

This is my local Starbucks and I rarely have any issues here. During the Saturday farmers market they even have a water container out with cups so you dont have to ask for water.
