I am a local physician working in the METRO DETROIT area, who had a horrible experience with pharmacy. "Jerry" is very unprofessional, rude and appears to lack general respect for the community he serves. Both my colleague and I were hung-up on and verbally accosted over the phone. Now, I can completely empathize with the need for "discretion" when filling prescriptions for patients. However, a simple "Doctor, I am a bit concerned about filling these prescriptions over the phone. Do you mind presenting me with a paper prescription?" - would have sufficed. There is no excuse for lack of professionalism and basic respect. Will never use pharmacy again and will recommend my patients to find business elsewhere.
