I dont normally go to this store since its a complete mess, but due to road construction, I stopped in this evening, 3/25 at about 6:30pm to pick up items to make a stew. I went through the self-scan checkouts and after I scanned all of my items, I realized that I forgot my wallet in my car. I told the "courtesy" clerk that I had to run out for my wallet real quick and he said "you better make it lighting quick" (as if I wouldnt have gone as fast as possible). Its a 6-lane self-checkout and there was 1 person in line. I recently had surgery and cannot run. So I was "lighting quick"... to leave once I got back to my car. But I sure hope their employee was "lighting quick" to put away the cart full of perishables I had bagged. Ive been stuck behind people whove forgotten their payment before. Ive lived with it. The one person in line had already stepped up to the next machine. Im not going to take orders from some punk that I "better be lighting quick" when he could have suspended the transaction if it was such a problem. I will not be back. The spilled berries with cart track marks running through them and complete lack of produce bags was a nice touch too. Disgusting store, horrendous service.

Love krogers always shop there but after my sons last birthday I would not order or recommend someone there for a cake, I went in 3 days before my sons birthday to order took 45 mins waiting for them to find someone from bakery then the deli lady wanted to take my order have me call the next day, when I was able to talk to someone the cake my son wanted wasnt in stock (understandable times change) but she was willing to use differnt toy but make it the same. When I got my cake 2 hours before his birthday party it was nothing as I orderd the side design was a mess I had to argue for it to be cleaned up the frosting was falling off and it looked like somes finger went right down the top of the cake I asked for her to fix it I wasnt paying for a messed up cake I get a dumb founded look and not even a apology she asked me what should she do. Dislike... will shop there but for bakery im going some where else

I am surprised at some of the negative comments regarding this Kroger. I have yet to have a bad experience with staff or offered items. Staff are always available, friendly and willing to help with questions or concerns. The bakery and deli departments step up to the phrase customer service as well as the customer service department itself. Store display and layout is very easy to locate items and such. Produce department is great. In fact I now buy most all produce (organic) from Kroger compared to Meijer or Whole Foods.

Store and staff are always amazing . BUT today I used CLICKLIST for first time. SUPER A few out of stock items that were discussed at car window and then viola my order was in the car. Bread was put in slicer, Deli meat sliced per instructions and produce was perfect. They can even add that I want paper instead of plastic to my profile for CLICKLIST!

Two reasons I use this Kroger store a) the flower crew always has wonderful choices in their discreetly placed clearance area - tulips today, roses the last time b) while glass bottle Mexican Coke is on the top shelf, someone had been kind enough to put out a sturdy step stool so that I could reach the Six I wanted. Thank you!

Will no longer shop there. They are desperate for good workers, but refuse to hire anybody with felony OR people who cannot fill out applications on their computerized systems. As an HR professional, Kroger has no reason to be so discriminate in their hiring except to be discriminatory. And that should lose peoples business.

If i could give no stars I would. This kroger is the worst grocery store around here, Id rather shop in the shortest neighborhood then this kroger. They have terrible customer service there are never enough cashiers at the registers and I get accused of stealing nearly every time I go and not once have I gotten an apology.

The pharmacy workers are racist Ive been treated very wrong by atleast 3 workers Im taking this all the way to the top Im a black,educated business owner. Im come in great and leave feeling very disrespected I will record actions next time just to show. The matter in which these people take care of customers .

I have always had good luck finding things Im looking for and the staff has always been exceptionally friendly. I requested a special item and they began stocking it for me! Its clean and while its not immaculate like a Buschs, the prices are not sky high either! Love my fuel points too!!

This was awesome, me and my grandma were in and out we also got everything we needed. The location was great to, we were home before you knew it. The people were so nice, and they helped me and my grandma find exactly what we were looking for.

You will wait literally a half an hour at the deli for even the smallest of deli meat order and the people that work behind the deli counter run over to the bakery area and pretend not to see the 10+ customers waiting for deli meat

A little expensive and they dont have the greatest produce section but they do have some interesting products and unusual brands so there are some hidden surprises. One big plus, you can get Amick Farms thin cut chicken here

Good prices if you know what your looking for. Got 5 HUGE chicken breasts for under $10 - I fillet them in half and get about ten 5 oz breasts from it. Just one example of some of the great prices.

The is my regular grocery store. The place is always clean and the produce is usually fresh. Most of the employees are pleasant. Solid experience and almost always find what Im looking for.

Its always way less packed here than Meijer so its my preferred grocery store in Brighton. VGs is even less packed, but it just rubs me the wrong way sometimes... Kroger is the way to go.

I love this Kroger!! Staff is so friendly and fun, sometimes it can be a bit frustrating and stressful though. Overall, 638 is the best. Kroger is my go-to store. ❤

Kroger has come a long way with their produce and meat. They have a great rewards program. Prices are competitive. The gas station has the best price around.
