Okay. I will start this review by saying that I dont care one fig for clothes. I would not know a designer brand if my life depended on it. Im a geek girl through and through, and I own it. So what do I go to Savers for? The toys! This is the only local thrift store where I ever see any amount of 80s/90s toys, especially the girl stuff which is harder to find than hens teeth around here. I live way up in the Berkshires and several times a year I will make the trek to Savers. Sometimes they dont have anything, but more often than not, Ive found some serious treasure here. And even if I have to fight my way through the hordes of unsupervised kids in the toy section, its still worth it. The book section is pretty cool too... again, the book sections in other area thrift stores are generally awful with almost no selection. I dont know how Savers does it, but maybe its best not to question it and just enjoy it for what it is: thrift store Mecca. Video games are kind of hit and miss. A lot of times they overprice what they have and put it in the front case, but every once in a while you can find something good that theyve somehow overlooked. Oh, and they occasionally have good DVDs here, but again, its a little hit and miss. The prices are higher than the average thrift, but still not too bad. As long as its not in the dreaded front case, its usually pretty reasonably (and often under) priced. The staff can be kind of bitchy at times, but wouldnt you be if you worked in a thrift store, even one as fabulous as this? Long live Savers.

You CAN find some great deals here, if you can stand the stink of body odor. The whole store usually smells of underarms, so I just assume its from so many used clothing articles. You can also find some NOT so great deals here. I was looking for flowerpots, and had just walked over from Kmart, in the same plaza. I was in shock when I saw their prices for cracked paint it on old flowerpots; I just walked back down to Kmart and bought mine at a fraction of the price (and the ones at Kmart were a nice heavy weight terra-cotta)

I just love savers .its my go to store when ever I need anything from shoes to boots to house wears ,clothes all kinds . They usually have name brands. And Ive picked up beautiful coach bags there., when my son needs a suit and he was still growing like a weed. I found a beautiful suit that was brand new ,name brand label that a major store had donated at the end of season .for 9.99. Super.dhop offen to find the best deals . The stock is moving fast,fast,fast.if you dont see come again you will.

The employees there are extremely unprofessional, they wont hesitate to stare at you or follow you around (ive seen them do this to multiple people) Their prices are high and unreasonable Needless to say ive contacted corporate Its like a ghetto free for all amongst those employess, goodluck!

Savers is a lot bigger than other thrift stores, and has a larger selection, and is also pretty organized. But the prices are higher than other places. I would not buy anything from there unless it is 1/2 off because their full priced items are usually unreasonably marked.

If you intend to return anything to this store and get a refund. Dont count on it, they will not give a refund of the same method of payment you issue. You will be asked to find something else to cover the cost of your return. Never again, will I shop here.

Up until a few months ago this was a very good store. But, recently prices are through the roof. If an item is from say pampered chef this store charges full pampered chef prices even though the item is donayed and has been used Ridiculous!

Bad fundraiser. What we weighted in was not we got paid for. Did not get reimbursed for the rental van and was told we would. Had to unload most of stuff. A lot of work for very little reimbursment.
