We once found a potatoe that was 8 years old. It was pruney. Eating salad from the salad bar is high stakes russian ruelette. Sometimes the coin machine works and sometimes the bottle machine works. Its great. When it works. Every employee is in a terrible mood because their job sucks and they get zero benifits and know they will likely be spending a good chunk of their hard earned cash on break junk food. Also since most employees are barely legally old enough to work, expect inexperience. (from someone who worked there at 16 years of age) If your young old men or broccoli will creep on you. In store. Most likely with wife lurking behind an isle. But yeah its right next door so 10/10 would shop again

Was short for time and had to pick up a few things stopped into the village market in Scituate. Prices were about 35% higher than I pay at the normal grocery store I go to. When I went to the dairy area a large selection of the items was either dated to expire that day or within a few days. so best advice I can give you is make sure you check the expiration dates on everything you buy there and be prepared to overpay for just about every item in the store.

If you know how to shop some stuff can be relatively cheap. Their produce is competitive at times and the seafood, fresh as ever. Just stay away from grocery unless there is something on sale. You dont need grocery anyways if you are trying to eat healthy. Just produce, meat, deli & bakery. Dairy is high but just go to cvs across the street. Plus it is scituate, if you want to buy something cheap, go somewhere else haha

Everybody at village market has been helping me try to get my nervousness out of my system its very difficult when someone he asked for a paper or plastic or paper or just plain nothing or if the order is complete and I think the order is complete and theres more coming to the order of the same order and thats pretty nerve-racking thank you for your help from Paul Gerard Mazzola!

In town location is great, some good gourmet finds, and staff is always helpful. Im looking for a better shopping experience for my large grocery runs and would shop here more if the store rennovated the tired and worn interior.

I was in the village market last week and I found out they sell a new product called SlimBeans, it is a great tasting coffee that helps you lose weight. I bought a bag and it tastes great. What a great product!

Love village market! Great selection for a local grocer, sure some prices are higher some are lower, but its next door. Just check the expiration dates.
