The store is well organized. The staff are very helpful. The prices are good . Far from being a tourist trap, tourists can find items that they might need at reasonable prices . But this is a full-fledged extensive hardware store . I can pretty much find everything required for house projects, etc. and interaction with the staff is always a pleasure .

Actually Charles, I worked there for two years. It is FAR from a "Surplus store" - "Tourist Trap" as you called it. The store has just about anything anyone needs! And with FAR better prices than the other hardware store in town! The staff is a lot nicer as well! :)

Great assortment, better stocked than Ace Conwell which is smaller. But I cant give the fifth star because they are harder to get to especially in summer crowds.
