I had my feet and wrists done by Chris at Coastline when I lived on Cape Cod and am still stoked years later. The atmosphere is professional and the vibes are good with no drama! I had some work done at another tattoo shop while I was in P-town but the drama was way too much and didnt go back for touch ups. When Chris opened his shop he was more than willing to work with me on ideas and tackle some annoying and difficult pieces. I am now 25 hours south of Cape Cod on the coast but travel to Coastline to get all my work done. They have different styles available with the different artists and will gladly introduce you to another if they are specializing in your taste. Scott has an amazing hand as well as Chris and looking forward to my back being done. I have nothing but great things to say about Coastline and look forward to getting some more custom work done. Having been tattooed at Coastline a number of times by ink genius, Scott Bruns, I can guarantee a relaxing and fun tattoo experience to anyone with a serious love of ink. Both of my sessions ran for around three hours, normally a painful experience. But at Coastline, the time flew by as I chatted and hung out with the relaxed and professional staff and clientele. Ive never been in a shop with such a high bar of talent combined with a lack of all too common "tattitude" found in other places. My artist took the time to get my drawing right and interpret my ideas and references perfectly. The other thing I love about this shop is the equal ratio of male to female artists. It lends a nice balance to the business. If youre thinking about getting tattooed, drop in and flip through the portfolio books. Theres always someone around to answer questions.

My husband, a friend and I had tattoos done by Scott July 16, 2010. The tattoos are great! Scott, Kris and the other artists at the shop do fantastic work. We were at the shop for quite a while because three of us were getting tattoos and we saw the work of all the artists working that day and it was amazing! It is a super clean environment and everyone is so nice. The shop has a great vibe! Scott did a tattoo for husband last year and this summer we went back for more. We have a two hour drive and this shop is worth every minute. We wont go anywhere else. Cape Codders and vacationers, dont hesitate, Coastline Tattoo Studio is the only shop you should even consider! These folks are A++++++ in our book. Keep up the good work. People you wont be disappointed but youll be "AWESOME". You can count on us coming back!

Kris has given me five tattoos now, and I love all of them. My tattoos make me feel closer to my true self every time I see them, which is in large part thanks to Kriss ability to listen, process, and then create. My most recent tattoo is a good sized pink and yellow rose on a stem with some smaller buds and leaves in multiple shades of green. It is one I have been envisioning for years and it is definitely more beautiful in reality than it was in my head. I appreciate Kriss ability to talk out what you want and integrate his artistic skill to make it even better. The whole crew is welcoming and the space is safe and comfortable. My favorite tattoo spot and artist, hands down.

Congratulations to Kris (and to Provincetown) for opening this new shop. I live 1/2 the time in Japan and the fact that I have my tattoos done in Ptown and not in Japan says a lot about the work that this man does. This past summer, my 4 friends from California stayed with me in town and all 4 got work done by Scott---it was the reason they came to the Cape, just to get some of Scotts ink. Wait a minute! Dont they have tattoo artists in California? 3,000 miles for a little pain says something. And they are planning their next trip in the fall. Me? Oh, I still have a little more space for more of Kriss handy work. See ya soon Kris!

For years I have had a penny tattoo that is very sentimental to me but looked like crap. I believe Scott said it looked like a skid mark. I began to believe it was unfixable and if it could be fixed I couldnt afford it. I went into to Coastline on a whim not really thinking they would be able to help me. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Not only were they able to get me an appointment that day but the tattoo was also very affordable.My tattoo artist Scott gave me the penny tattoo I always wanted. If youre ever in Provincetown stop in to Coastline. You will have a tattoo you can be proud of.

Ive been getting tattooed by the owner of Coastline since hes picked up a gun. Literally. Just by describing an idea, he was able to transform my back into a true work of art. The studio is immaculate, relaxing, and super gay friendly. They are more than willing to work with you on your original art. Trust me, this is THE place to go for the tattoo you want while visiting Ptown. Ill be traveling from the west coast to get work done there in 2 weeks. Since the studio opened I have never gone anywhere else.

After thinking about a very special tattoo for probably 15 years I finally went in yesterday. This was my very first tattoo so was a bit nervous not knowing what to expect. Kris is a true artist and made me feel very at ease. He has a very calming energy about him which helped me a lot! The image I had done (from a necklace my Mom wore for most of her adult life), came out exactly how I wanted it. I could not be happier with my experience and would definitely return for another!!!!

My husband and I recently got tattoos there. It was #2 for me and his first! Best shop ever! It was unlike any shop I had ever been in, none of the attitude that I have encountered either on my own or with friends!! We love our tattoos and you are all so friendly and inviting. Great service all around! Called on a whim on a Thursday for a next day appointment. Got in, gave them the art, they tweaked it to make it work, and within an hour, BOOM, a great tattoo! Kris was personable and great throughout the whole process (and patient when I kept moving the placement!). Would 100% recommend this place -- local guy, knows many of our friends; thumbs up!
