Red Wing makes a great product. A store like this should be a great place to showcase and provide that product. Unfortunately this one doesnt have much in stock, they use a very slow shipping service with no tracking, and the manager is very unfriendly. Theyll also charge you ten dollars to exchange the boots you couldnt try on because they didnt have them in stock for other boots they dont have in stock. The big draw here is that they offer free cleaning/conditioning every six months for the life of your boots. This is quite attractive, but you have to weigh it against the quick shipping services and free exchange policies of online vendors. Theres also a good chance youll have to deal with the unfriendly manager when you go to get them cleaned, which wont be fun. Then again, Ive still spent $700 in the place in the last couple months, so there is some appeal that is hard to avoid.

Nice people at the store. My only issue is that I went in to try on a set of boots they didnt have the size in stock, but the store in Stoneham did. So they were going to have the Stoneham store ship them to my house, they said it would take 2 days. After 4 days called back to find out they actually ordered them from the main distributor and it was going to take about a week. If I knew that I would have driven to the other store to pick them up. They never called back or emailed me to let me know.

Low to no inventory, mediocre staff and slow shipping. All for an over priced mid grade work boot. Not the high quality boot they used to be.
