This is not my idea of a professional tattoo parlor. The tattoo artist that was supposed to work on me did not introduce himself, and was very rude the entire process. I do not know his name, bc he didnt tell me, but he was older and chubby (not being rude, just a description). The female that was helping was very kind, but the male was more than I could handle, and I cannot support an establishment where someone acts like that. He only had negative things to say about my tattoo, and lets just be clear, I am always open to other ideas, if they are productive! I wanted a bible verse and he did not even know how to adjust the font size on the computer! Seriously this is not an exaggeration. I was fine with helping with the program to get the tattoo the way I wanted it to look, and we eventually did, but by we I mean me and the other girl that was working the desk when I arrived. The guy had the nerve to tell me that when people are getting tattoos, they would typically have it prepared before arriving. He said this because I wanted him to sketch a simple heart outline next to the bible verse. I even told him the exact font names to make the text look right on my own. So i asked him if he honestly thinks his customers should have to contribute all the creative energy towards their tattoos on their own, and he got all huffy puffy and rude with me. I think this is ridiculous and expect the tattoo artist I go to to enhance my ideas and contribute something to the process. When I pressed him to explain he only voiced his frustration. It is not fair to just an entire establishment and everyone there, based on this one man and my experience with him, but I could not bring myself to stay there and pay for that kind of service. I do not know what their end work is like since I did not make it that far,... after being there over an hour. Oh and this is Amanda, Im sure you remember me from today.

I gave a $50 tip and I $50 deposit for a tattoo. I called ahead of time and told them the style that I wanted. I even emailed it to them and stated I wanted something similar. But instead of looking at the tattoo that I sent & putting me with a comparable tattoo artist they gave me whoever was available. I gave them ample time to draw something up before the tattoo but he was given a cardboard with my phone number on it. Not the emailed photo. I like REDACTED, hes a good guy with great art work but his style is not mine. I settled for a tattoo that I like but I paid too much for. Ive done this before out of guilt. I wont be doing it again. No one wants to walk into a tattoo shop and have to have their idea be completely different than what was asked, be told the position of it is weird and that its gonna look weird. The work is nice & it matches my other tattoo. But I will be asking for my $50 deposit back.

Ever since I turned 18, I started getting tattoos. I live in Boston and I come all the way to Lowell Ink to get my tattoos (plus I attend school at UMass Lowell). I love the work that my tattoo artist does, hes amazing and cracks me up. I love the enviornment, they might seem scary at the beginning but once you get use to them you will have a blast. I have gone back twice for myself and I have brought three of my friends to get tattoos at this same parlor. One of my friends has been tattooed at different parlors but she likes this parlor, well thats what she tells me and I dont blame her. There are plenty of artist at this shop and they are all very different from one another. I love the way my tattoo came out, I will be going back soon.

Ive been getting tattooed here since I turned 18 and I must say they progressively get better and better. There are a couple of great artist in the shop that make you feel very welcomed and will work with you if youre not sure what you want. They can help you pick something out that will flow or fit on your body properly ensuring a beautiful piece of art and not just a stamp. It is a really relaxed atmoshpere and I highly recommend it for the full tattoo experience!

Ive gone to Danny for most of my tattoos (7/9) and every time I go into another shop im like "this could have been better if id gone to lowell ink". Its such a chill environment and eric and danny are stupidly talented, and very good people. Ive recommended this place to friends so many times and they wont go anywhere else now. 10000/10 stars!
