Prior to my most recent visit to Route 9 Tattoo, I had 5 of my 6 other tattoos done at other studios. While I havent had a bad experience at any of the other studios, this most recent visit to Route 9 has me convinced that all of my future tattoo work will be done here. I will detail the reasons why my experience here was so positive by breaking it out: Easy Process: I initially send a message in via Facebook to get an idea for how to approach a consult. All of my other tattoos are relatively small and havent required much pre-work or discussion, but this project was much different. Someone got back to me in a matter of hours and very clearly explained to me what to do. I stopped by the shop one night when the artist that I wanted to work with (Natalia) was there. I spoke to her briefly and explained my idea. She let me know what timing would be good and how long to book an appointment for. She also explained that we would work out the details via text as we got closer to the date. Finalizing the Design: I sent reference photos and details/meaning to Natalia via text. She replied with a couple of drawings and some follow up questions. We very quickly and very easily came to a final design that literally made my heart skip a beat when I saw it. The Tattoo: Natalia made the entire experience enjoyable, comfortable, and easy. I was at the shop pretty much all day, but it flew by. Throughout the experience I saw that the shop is clean, everyone is professional, and theyre dedicated to giving their clients a great experience and a beautiful tattoo. They care about their art and the people that theyre working with on it. Overall, I highly recommend Route 9 Tattoo and I also recommend Natalia as an artist. I reviewed the work of all of the artists there and they are all incredibly talented people, so you cant go wrong there, but Natalia is amazing. She also clearly communicated the care of my tattoo and when to stop back in for her to see how it heals and what to expect from any next steps that we may need to take (touch up, etc).

Okay so let me explain my horrible experience at this so called tattoo parlor!. I went in excited about getting a tatt talking about different ideas was indecisive about what I wanted but figure they could help me out cause there artist and thats what artist do artist help bring images to real life! well nope not them the sabotage them! I finally came to an idea of what I wanted but not once did this guy Jason make me feel comfortable about getting it done he was very rude started insulting my chest tattoo but thought maybe he had a weird sense of humor so I just ignored him but anyways long story short I paid $200 for a diamond tatt that was very simple after he was done looked like a street tatt the worth $50!!!!!the guy that did my tattoo was named Jason and he shoul bE ashamed of himself talking bout hes a artist for 20 years more like 20 days I wish I could upload a pic on here so everyone can see the work he did! this something I have to live with on my body forever I was stupid to go along with it but he did not put no effort no thought no compassion he hurt me like hell and felt no remorse I kept saying he was hurting me and was like Im bout go up on a price like you gotta be kidding me I was treated like an animal I cried and cried cause I allowed for a situation like this to happen to me and didnt realize till I got home cause I kept thinking about it over and over and just thought it was me and was in denial lastly I realized how My tattoo was wrapped in just plastics with blood dripping down my neck he didnt even bother putting in a gauze but I will never recommend this place and never return there they can have the chump change they got from me I hope noone ever has to experience a horrible service like I did!!!!!!!!!

Natalia was recommended to me by a friend, so I called to set up a time to meet and talk with her about some ideas. She was very nice when we met and I was super excited to work with her. I needed an artist to draw my tattoo as it was a large back piece. We looked at some pictures and talked about ideas. She gave me contact info and asked that I email her the pictures so she could have them to look at. She said give her a week. She replied when I sent her the pictures so I know I had the right email. Two weeks later I sent her an email after having not heard anything, and one week after that I sent her one more. I never heard from her. Very VERY disappointing.

Absolutely terrible costumer service. When I first walked in, I asked for an available artist to do a sit down and talk about my tattoo. Instead I ended up talking to the receptionist, who not only didnt even call the artist for me, but was UNBELIEVABLY rude as well. When I explained what I wanted, he shot down every thought I had and told me the piece I wanted was impossible to do. Then after some further explaining, he tells me itll $300 to get work done to me. Yah, right. I got a quote on my piece from three other shops and all of them were in the $150 range. I wont be coming here again. Overpriced, terrible service, and terrible staff.

very bad customer service! i went in there with a tattoo in mind and the guy that spoke to me said that it wouldnt go with me that it was too hard to do blah blah blah.they were not what a tattoo parlor should be like friendly and put customers first.i do not recoomend this place for noone ...like some people say u get what u pay for! it may be cheap but there ink is crap and fades away

I got three of my several tattoos done there and, Ive had terrific service every time. Jason tattooed me and, they came out just the way we drew them up. Honestly dont know how people could knock this parlor or the employees...theyve treated myself and everyone Ive recommended to go there with respect and made our tattoo experience pleasant.

I have been here twice before for piercings. Many of my friends have gone here for tattoos and piercings. The staff is very professional and extremely prompt. I was in a out in a total of fifteen minutes both times I got my helix pierced. They have competitive pricing and a very calm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend it!!

The worst experience ever!!!! Do not walk onto this place unless u want to be sworn at and threatened. My friend was severely verbally abused and bullied management did nothing. Stay away from this extremely unprofessional place. It gives tattoo artists a bad name!

Their all rude and they told us they could take walk ins over the phone. We drove 50 min and we go in and they said they wouldnt have time to do a simple flower and they closed in 4 hours... The guy who answered the phone was rolling his eyes. Dont go there
