A Private User

Hess Gas station located in Riverside corner of Lincoln Ave and Groveland Street. Watch the pump. I used my debit card, waited until the pump rolled to 0.00 and before I squeezed the handle it already read .03(3 cents). The girl next to me said her pump did the same. I went in to complain. A gentlemen walks over to my pump which had stopped working for some reason...maybe it timed out while I was complaining, he pulled my receipt out of the pump and wrinkled it up. I asked for my receipt back, he gave it to me. He says "do it again"...like he had just fixed it. I run my card through again, wait for it to reach 0.00, again it goes right to 3 cents and 2 seconds later jumps to 4 cents...and I did not even start pumping the gas. The guy comes over to my pump and starts squeezing the handle ...the gas started pumping....he said to me it was fine now and they would pay me my 3 cents ( well geeze now it was up to 7 cents). What is that about? No it was not fine, they are ripping off hundreds of consumers a day. (oh..but maybe this was a onetime one pump occurrence...yeah right) Is this normal for all gas stations? Is it that difficult to get these pumps set up so they are accurate? How many cars go through this gas station in a day ....$$$

I went in to get some pitch black Mountain Dew because this was the closest Speedway to me. I walked in and the cashier is staring me down for some reason. I went in and didnt see it on the tap but they had signs advertising it all over the store so I politely asked if they had pitch black available to which the rude cashier responded "uh? You see the sign?" And I said yeah it says pitch black exclusive here. He literally ignored me and began talking to another employee and I walked up to the soda fountain obviously confused and saw there was one small sign covering one of the options that said "please select another soda" and lifted it up which revealed the logo for pitch black and I was like oh ok so you guys are out of it, I didnt understand. He ignored me and continued talking to his other coworker so I just left and decided to just get gas somewhere else. Ruined my night by being so rude and aggressive in tone, so thanks for that.

Website says open til 10. Got there at 9:52 and one door was locked so I ran to the other side door. The door was unlocked..Yessss!! Walked in and they told me they were closed. I asked please, please if they could just sell me a pack of butts, Ill be 2 seconds. The kid that was mopping felt bad and looked towards the cashier as if to plead with me. The cashier told me no, his drawer was already closed. Guess they close at 9:30 if the drawer was already counted. The nice one of the 2 suggested Mobil across the street might be open til 11. I ran across the street (just in case they closed at 10) and Eureka! They are open til 11. I just moved to the area and needed a local stop for smokes. Even though Speedway is closer, Ill take my business where its appreciated. Speedway:0 Mobil:1
