I cannot stand this auto parts store. The customer service is the worst of any place Ive been in New England. We walk in and it will be 5 whole minutes before we even get a glance from one of the employees. That doesnt mean well even be helped! While we are (finally) being helped, it always seems like the biggest chore for the employees. Most of the time, we know exactly what we need. Im sure theres a 1 in 50 chance of them picking up the phone whenever it rings. As we stood waiting, the phone rang a dozen times and not one employee acknowledged it. Weve been to CAP a number of times, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Never again will we use this auto parts store. Id rather drive an hour than go back to this place.

Im not surprised that the negative comments are anonymously left... More than likely disgruntled ex employees or desperate competition. Fact of the matter is both Tony and Mark who manage the store and run commercial are extremely well rounded in automotive and both very good with customer service. The retail staffing is knowledgeable and if for some reason they dont know what youre asking for, they can always go to the commercial guys. Great inventory, and if its not there they can usually get it within a day. Highly recommended.

2 good experiences with CAPs. 2 weeks ago I went in on a Sunday AM and the guy at the counter couldnt have been more helpful finding my wiper blades. I went back today because I couldnt figure out how to install them ... thought I might have the wrong ones. Tony Dacruz (manager) said "Come on. Lets take a look". He came outside with me, took off my old ones and installed the new ones. Now THATs what I call small town, friendly, "local" service!

My experience was much different than the 1st 2 reviewers. They were the only place open late on a Saturday; answered their phone quickly for me twice today; and were helpful both on the phone and when I paid them a visit to pick up parts/oil, etc. Prices were good too.
