Market Basket is a grocery store my family has shopped at for many generations. When I was a young boy "now 42" my mother and I would walk to Market basket. Growing up money was tight so getting the biggest bang for your buck was the goal. Thanks to Market Basket the little bit of money we had went a long way and the family was able to eat. My great grandparents, grandparents, aunts and uncles along with family friends all shopped at Market Basket. To this day I continue to shop at Market Basket along with my children. Thanks Market Basket for the numerous years of keeping my family fed.

This store offers good overall prices and a very helpful staff. It doesnt stock some of the finer things that Hannaford offers such as my favorite brand of Greek yogurt. You will see a lot of elderly people in the store, taking advantage of the good prices. While its nice that they hire intellectually impaired people to bag groceries, some of them are a little too deliberate and cant keep up with the cashier.

This Market Basket is an older location; therefore it is small compared to newer stores. The staff is VERY friendly, and they keep the store clean. I prefer its quaint atmosphere. Due to a walking disability I can shop with less discomfort. Item prices are always reasonable, good selection, and fresh.

How could you not like the best prices in town? I think they only reason not to go here would be for very specific ethnic foods. Otherwise the prices are great, and aside from when theres a panicked run due to an incoming storm, the shelves are always well stocked.

This market basket is the smallest of the other m.bs. There is no sandwich or bakery station where they make it fresh. However it carries all staples needed to run a household!
