Ive dropped a Yugo-load of cash in the four months Ive been coming to Pino Bros; out of an ethic of loyalty, sticking with the guy that was paired with me on my initial walk-in. He was never introduced as an apprentice (that bit of paperwork got taped to his wall three months in). The most recent and still unfinished tattoo--adding to two others that have gone through increasingly shoddy touch-ups and await completion--has progressed from a one-sitting $300 undertaking to a swelling $900. Mounting dissatisfaction came to a head when my latest appointment was canceled by the receptionist. In a blasé voice mail, I was told my tattoo artist would not be coming in. Quite the affront that after about $10,000, my artist, first, would not contact me directly, as had been done countless other times, but that he actually was at the shop that day, idly doodling in a Mead notebook while dabbing the oily detritus off the corners of his lips from a recently ingested veggie sub. Ahhh, the rewards of loyalty...

I got a religious symbol on my back, between my shoulders. The artist, Joe, was extremely helpful and informative. He was also incredibly friendly and a joy to talk to during the consultation and procedure. He explained all the steps that he went through and followed all sanitation measures. I was confident and comfortable at all times. Everyone at the shop is nice and easy to talk to. The place is clean and cool-looking. Some stations are in the basement (the place is a lot bigger than it looks). Their website is also very creative. Helpful to see a lot of the artists work on the site. Its hard to believe some of the not 5-star reviews below me are actually talking about the same place..? Im very, very happy with my new ink and plan on going back to Joe for future tattoos and recommending my ink-happy friends to him as well.. Thanks Pino Bros!

Killer shop! Ive been a fan of the band Waltham for a long time now. With Frankie Pino being the vocalist of the band and the owner of the shop, thats how I heard about this place. After looking at the artists portfolios online, I knew I had to get some ink here. Being from FLORIDA, I booked my appointment way in advance with KURT BROWN. My tattoo came out better than I imagined! Not only did I get a rad tattoo, but I got to chill with Frankie, the singer of WALTHAM! Next time Im in Boston, Im coming back! The shop was clean, the staff was very nice (they offered to buy me lunch!) and the atmosphere was chill. Being from Florida I had no clue how to get to the shop. Over the phone, one of the employees gave me detailed directions on how to take the T from my hostel to the closest T stop and detailed walking directions.

My husband and I were visiting from Chicago and were looking for a great shop to get our customary travel tattoos. (We get one every time we travel to a new place together). We read a lot of great reviews about Pino Bros and decided to check it out. We walked in on a Friday so they were busy but they made us feel comfortable during our wait. The shop had a great atmosphere and the artists were welcoming and friendly. Ben P was our artist and he went above and beyond for us both. There was an unforeseen circumstance that occurred but Ben and the others were incredibly professional in dealing with the situation. We had a blast hanging out and getting to know Ben and would 10/10 recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful work by a really cool dude. Keep up that Aussie accent Ben!

Excellent artists and great people. A few years ago me and my 60+ year old Father went to get inked together. This was my 5th tattoo and my Dads 1st ever. The skill of these guys can not be overrated. My Father was cleared by the doctor even though he was on blood thinners which could have made getting inked impossible. Not for these guys. Not only did they they pull off my Dads ink, there was no blotting or running of the ink. My ink came out great as well. The guy who does the piercings isnt always responsive to communication. He did two piercings in one session for me, and I wasnt entirely happy with the results. I dont think hed done the piercings before even. He at least knew his boundaries when I asked about even more advanced piercings than what I had done. Friendly in general though. Appropriate sanitation procedures followed.

Artists here are top notch. Definitely make an appointment if you need a consultation. The new facility is fantastic and the owners are going above and beyond to make your session enjoyable. Two huge projection screens, loads of TV monitors - all syncd up so that you can see the show/movie from any seat while you get your ink.

I went here for a piercing and had a great experience. The shop is extremely clean, the staff is friendly and the piercer, Aaron is super professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended! (Just make sure to call ahead and ask what hours Aaron is in, I initially came in on Friday at 7pm and he had already left for the day)

Got 3 pieces done here and each time the experience was great, like any upscale tattoo shop they give you exactly what you give them in respect! my dude bob v headed back home the same time i moved out, if i was still there would of found a different artist in the same shop... no way i would leave that shop its sick!

Agree with Chris, here - best tattoos in Boston. And Ive check out a few (and had awful experiences)! Pino has the best artists - Ben Pease and Kurt Brown are by far the best Ive seen from here to NYC. The place is always clean, always playing cool movies and music, and the guys are just always fun to be around.

I had such an excellent first time experience here! I was a walk-in appointment and they were able to fit me right in. Ken was a super nice guy and I love how my piece came out. He is definitely talented! It is beautiful! I definitely will be recommending Pino Bros to as many people as I can.

An amazing shop. The artists are perfectionists from all different types of styles. The atmosphere is great, super nice shop, the artists are very kind and dedicated, in a great area to grab a bite or a drink after. One of the best shops in Massachusetts.

Karrie Whitfield is amazing. Super artist, and really a great person. The rest of the staff was really friendly. Great experience over all. When Im ready for my next tattoo, I know just where to go.
