Posted for a friend who does not do "social media", that purchased a motorcycle from here summer 15, more than willing to prove this. His experience was so unpleasant that we felt it would be a disservice to other riders by not sharing. From Him: Let’s start out with the dealership itself. The inside was clean and they had a decent selection of bikes. I didn’t go into the shop area, but it looked like they had a nice big selection. The only salesman I dealt with was Noal. He was nice enough, but had some shady answers for questions asked. He couldn’t tell me exactly what the “problem” was with my bike and why it sat in the back room for over a year, but he assured me that the fix was“cheap and easy” that they finally got around to. To be fair, he did show me a receipt from Bettencourt’s, but it was unclear what the repairs were (the receipt showed some parts and labor costs). The website was clean and easy to navigate, and the list prices on the bikes were good. At least, that’s what they wanted you to think. My bike was listed at $4,499. When I expressed interest in purchasing the bike and tried to gauge a price (I mentioned $4,300 cash out-the- door), Noal replied “you’re looking at more like $5,200 after fees”. I knew there would be fees when purchasing from a dealership, but this place was asking for over $600 in fees for a used bike. Oh, and don’t expect to take a bike for a test ride outside of the parking lot, so you’ll be on the hook for the deductible for any issues that you uncover at highway speed after purchase. So if you’re thinking of buying from this dealership, add about $600 on the list price before you decide to drive there. When you ask for a breakdown of the fees, expect to be met with evasive, nonchalant answers like, “Oh,they are typical fees. You can go to any bike dealership and you will find the same thing. Etc...” When you reiterate that you want to know what each fee is and what it entails, they will finally tell you that there is a XXXX FEE FOR XXXX. There is also an XXXX FEE FOR XXXX. I’m not sure why I paid the “Dock and prep” fee, but I can tell you that it wasn’t for them to change inspect anything or to do the oil/filter or brake fluid. They did print a RMV-1 form with some sales paperwork, but it didn’t look like $300. I filled out more paperwork with Ronnie. The paperwork showed a $100 deductible for repairs under their 30 day warranty which was double the $50 Noal told me it was. I asked Ronnie and he seemed surprised that I was told it was $50 and he explained that it was “up to $100” and usually it wasn’t that much, but I still felt like I had been deceived. When I went to pick up the keys to my bike, I stood in the showroom with my dad for almost 15 minutes. Noal then saw me and said he would go grab the keys, but on his way he began helping another customer who was looking at bikes. I guess since they already had my money there was no rush to help. It took over half an hour just to get the keys to my bike. I asked them if there was gas in it and they said they would bring it out back and gas it up. Instead, Noal moved it to the middle of the showroom floor and poured some gas in the tank from a gas can. Wrongly assuming that they topped off the gas tank I started the 35m ride home (they knew how far I was going – I told them), the low fuel light came on about half way. I stopped and put $9 in the tank which was nearly empty. Over a month after buying my bike, it is STILL listed on Craigslist (as of 8/1/15) and was only recently taken down off their website. I had to call them 3 weeks after purchase and remind them that they still hadnt refunded my deposit. When I got home, I observed that my rear tire was horrible misaligned leading me to believe they hadnt inspected the bike at all before selling it to me. If you do decide to purchase a bike here, get it THOROUGHLY inspected by a professional mechanic. TL;DR – Don’t believe the list prices. Nonsensical fees. Lackluster customer service. Purchase elsewhere.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! I was interested in buying a motorcycle from this establishment for my collection, but the response I received back from their GM Ronnie Fortin below was less than professional and disrespectful. A very poor excuse for a motorcycle dealership and they certianly give small business owners a bad name in the industry. I made a $5000 offer on a 2001 Yamaha R1 motorcycle online, the response I received back from the GM Ronnie Fortin "Id rather you did look elsewhere with bullshit offers like youve sent. Ill have my sales staff cater to the people who are looking to actually buy" I even made several attempts to contact the owner of this establishment Alan Veracka with no response. Alan "the owner" is suppose to be known for his uncompromising honesty and true appreciation for his customers and one would think this isnt how he would want his employees representing him. That is NOT the case! This dealership could care less about their customs, its all about overcharging and taking advantage of good paying customs. No customer service and simply RUDE!!! I hope people read this and think twice before considering a purchase from Motorcycle508 or Paul Veracka Motors.

Ordered helmet May 17, emailed them repeatedly through their website requesting shipment info/update with no response. Opened paypal dispute requesting refund and left negative google review. Was quickly contacted by Ronnie claiming hes never had any emails from me and no idea why Id leave a negative review. I requested Ronnie consult his Paypal acct and resolve the issue by issuing refund. Ronnie agreed to issue refund "now" (6/8)and blamed all trouble on website changes. He requested I remove my review which I did immediately expecting a timely refund. No further emails from Ronnie and no refund until the Paypal dispute finnally ran its course and Paypal forced refund on 6/19. Asleep at the wheel. Its pretty absurd that the owner of this establishment is leaving himself positive google reviews.

Some people here are friendly and helpful, but others are not. They have a lot of motorcycles to search through and a lot of gear to try on. Its a neat place but the people working here are hit or miss. Some show very little professionalism and others are helpful and friendly. In the end, all they want is your money. Once I decided not to get the motorcycle I was interested in, I didnt feel too welcomed there. It took two weeks and multiple phone calls to get refunded for a returned jacket and the money I had down on a bike that I decided not to get. Ill probably look elsewhere for a motorcycle next time. I dont really trust them that much anymore. My overall experience wasnt so great.

Recently visited the showroom at 2074 Main St. Brockton, MA 02301 with my friend who rides. What a great inventory they have of helmets, boots, jackets!!! So much to choose from and the manager, Ronnie rocks. Even though I dont ride, I bought myself a HEATED jacket. It was a womens fitted jacket which a has rechargeable battery pack. Ronnie helped me get the right size, showed me how the jacket works and it was on sale at 25% off- $150. Ronnie told me I can special order another battery pack if I want to. Just call him and hell hook me up. I work in a really cold office, and now I wont have a feel like a popsicle at work.
