Be prepared to wait. The miscommunication here is embarrassing. Please note that they will NEVER call you to update you on your bike. You have to call and harass them or they will make you wait 5 months like they did me. I was given a deadline of mid June 2017 for the project. My dirtbike wouldnt start. Took it to Action Cycle and was told it needed a complete motor overhaul/build(this was in april/may). I was given a projected completion date of mid June 2017. This seemed perfect. Im going away to college in August so the bike should be done way in advance right? Wrong. After continuously calling i am told repeatedly that my head is "still at the machine shop". So the projected date turned into mid July. I am not sure at all why nobody started building the bottom end before the head arrived. There was no logic in waiting until the head got there to begin ANY work. It is now August 10th. Action cycle has had my parts for over 2.5 weeks and has had my bike for 4-5 months but has made no effort to start the build. I keep being told "listen were busy its Summer im trying to find a day where i can bang out this whole project". This is not good business. If you gave someone an eta as a business you should try your best to stick to that. Action Cycle has not. They clearly dont care at all when they finish my bike as theyve already taken $3000 out of the $4500 for the build(apparently they wanted it first). This is just all around unprofessional. If the head took forever to get back the shop you should have began working on my bike immediately to compensate. If a little bit of work was put into my bike every day instead of "saving it all for one day" I would actually have my motorcycle back before going to college. I would never do business here again. Hopefully someone gets their act together, decides to put effort into my bike, and its done before I get back from school. If anything is off with my machine after all of this I will take legal action. If they keep giving me the workaround like they have been I will take legal action. $3000 out of my pocket and they havnt even started on my machine. Sad. There is clearly a lack of respect between the owners of this shop and myself. For some reason they think its ok to continuously push me to the bottom of the priority list and after 5 months im sick of waiting and false promises. As of right now I would NEVER recommend this shop. If they do right by this situation maybe my review will change.

I am a new rider and bought my very first bike,1981 KZ550 recently. I checked out several places in the area and with luck came across Action Cycle by the recommendation of a close friend whose been riding for years. I had literally little to no idea about bikes at the time besides that I needed new tires and an oil change. Cory walked me through the bike explaining what needed to be changed immediately and what I could hold off on. He quoted me a price for new tires, an oil change, and replacing the chain and not only was it affordable but he actually charged me less than his quote! It is very refreshing to go to a mechanic that you can trust. A week later, I left my lights on and the bike ended up dying on me in the middle of the night (would not even start back up with a jump... but I guess thats what I get for buying a bike over thirty years old). I managed to roll her over to the shop and left her there over night. The next morning I was worried it would get hit by some rain but by the time I called Cory had already moved my bike inside. He was helpful and informative. Going to Action Cycle has been an overall enjoyable experience.

My bike blew a tire about 3 miles form their shop on Memorial day. I had the bike towed there but since they were closed I asked their neighboring auto shop if I could stick the bike inside overnight, and they said yes. First thing Tuesday morning the guys worked to find a tire in their stock that would fit my bike and get me rolling home. Turns out the tire they put on is great! My bike rides smoother and better than before. It was a slightly different size than my tire and all 3 guys in the shop checked it independently to make sure all of the clearances were right and that it was going to be perfectly safe. This shop was friendly, knowledgeable and quick. I was back on the road less than 90 minutes after they opened. Thanks guys!!!

Jeff and Corey are the best there is. From dyno tuning to tires and anything in between they have fair prices for the work they perform. If you had to pay for knowledge, this father and son team are priceless. They never laughed at my 75 year old junk when it came time for inspections or anything else. They dyno tuned my 1940 Indian Four all the way up to 41 horsepower. AMAZING!!! My 58 Panhead all the way up to 46 horsepower. Tire smoking fantastic.

Action Cycle is a class act. I called them for help with my bike on Friday. They picked-up my bike 6:30am Monday morning and had it fixed by noon. The repair could have been a nightmare, but due to their expertise they fixed my bike very efficiently - saving me time and money. Corey and his dad are great people. Wish I had discovered them sooner. Thank you guys. Be Good!

I was ridding up to Americade 2015 when all of a sudden I got a flat while ridding. After getting towed Action Cycle was the only shop in the area that would put new tires on the next morning so we could continue on our trip. Cory was very helpful and got us up and back on the road. Also his dog is just amazing.

As a 40yr+ motorcyclist, Ive known Action Cycle for almost 30 years. The owner Jeff and his son are the two of the most experienced, fair and conscientious motorcycle mechanics in the tri-state area. Their level of work and craftsmanship is hard to find nowadays. And theyre good guys to boot.

My experience at Action Cycle was great! Used them for tuning my bike (which I bought used) right after I bought it. Then I went back for inspection and to replace the tires. Support your local shops! P.S. As for prices Im not familiar what the prices should be, but sounded fair to me.
