This store went way downhill from over 20 years ago when Whole foods bought out this original Bread and Circu store.Whole Foods promised Bread and Circus customers they would never change the high standards Bread and circus has when they take over.THEY LIED! Bread and Circus used to sell only 100% organic food in the store and they would only use transitional certified food if organic wasnt available.Nothing conventional in the whole store. Now they have lots of conventional food and higher prices and unhealthy ingredients that Bread and Circus would never sell like Gmos white flour, sugar ect.You should not purchase from Wholefoods and buy from local farmers at farmers markets .Whole Foods doesnt support local farmers like Bread Circus did. They lie and most of their produce is imported from big farms in california. All the good reviews must be younger people who are to young to remember Bread and Circus.THIS STORE SUCKS!

This is a decent whole foods, its really small and packed and hard to get around, but it is clean and well organized. Most of the staff are nice, however, the last time I was there one staff member was really rude and pushed a cart right into me without apologizing or even acknowledging it! Then she grabbed another cart right out of an old womans hands and as the old woman was yelling "excuse me I need that cart" she just walked away and never even looked back. I know that this is just one person but it made quite an impression on me and I question how a store could even hire someone like that. But truly, aside from this one employee this is a decent Whole Foods Market. For such a small space they do make the best of it.

Generally a great stop for food. The store is kept very clean and the staff is extremely helpful. I will say that sometimes they are out of certain items such as the fresh brioche rolls, so I cant 100% rely on them as a grocery stop. Generally speaking they have the medium and higher end products i want, but occasionally havent had items Ive needed. Produce has been well stocked in probably 97% of visits. Very rarely have i not been able to get the produce I want. But when it does happen its certainly frustrating. All in all, what youd expect from a wholefoods, but I really do need to commend the excellent staff, without whom, it wouldnt stand out.

Its Whole Foods. Its overpriced bullshit staffed by hipsters and hippies. But the Homemade Peanut Butter you grind, and the Organic Pacific 365 Coffee makes every trip worthwhile. Your life is empty. Your friendships are one illness or betrayal from ending forever. There is no purpose to life, its all pointless meaningless disappointments, on a good day. Now Smell that fresh peanut butter. Throw it on some ice cream . Mix in some ground black Pacific Coffee ground to sweet black oily dust. Taste. Let the pleasure wipe your mind clean. You are whole again. Thanks Whole Foods.

Its conveniently located in the Brighton/Allston/Brookline area off of Commonwealth Avenue. Parking might not always be available as it can get busy during rush hour times, think right after work or around a big party weekend. Their breakfast buffet ebbs and flows sometimes. I usually judge it depending on their bacon. Right now, the bacon is less of the thick cut, maply goodness that it can be, and just the regular stuff. But overall, still a very good store. Produce, meat, and seafood section are all very nice looking and fresh!

Easy shopping plus coffee brewers onsite. One can go shopping, and enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal here. Coffee service is rather new, and some baristas need to shape their skills. Im not sure why the salad bar is divided in two. Dry tomatoes, olives and the sort in one area; while red beets, carrots and other salads are in another. One ends up carrying two boxes of food to the register. I am not sure if the display arrangement is based on price since chicken wings and the sort are next to the salad bar.

You know what youre getting and how much it hurts your pocketbook. But I must say I was here the other night and got get an espresso while I was checking out, and it was very decent. Their cafe area is very clean and the espresso was better than its low price might suggest. Its hard to reach unless you use the express line all the way over near the exit. This location used to be a Bread & Circus market, and the building has been a grocery for a long time. Good spirit in the place.

Whole Foods can be pricey, but if you look at what they have on sale each week, you should be able to come out okay. I have a very small income, but Whole Foods is our go-to place because you cant beat the variety of healthy choices they have. A lot of the customers here, unfortunately, are very rude, and so are some of the younger staff. Mostly, though, theyre all helpful and the guys at the butcher counter are especially wonderful!

This store has a not so friendly grocery staff. When asked if the had any more of a specific product the two team members looked at each other and basically deliberated as to whos turn it was to go look. After about 30 seconds of this I offered to go look myself as to not inconvenience them. Otherwise the store is large and has a decent selection. Pizza bar looked mediocre but the bakery section looked amazing.

I feel like other whole foods hold themself to a higher standard but its honestly not that bad. The food bar can be horrific sometimes but thats because of the demand, I think most of the workers are just exhausted from high demand so some things fall by the waist side. Never met an employee here that wasnt insanely nice or super helpful so just ask even if it seems like they dont want to be bothered.

I love this particular Whole Foods so much that when we moved (from Brighton, to Brighton) we told our realtor wed like to be within walking distance. The staff are always friendly and courteous, and the produce/meat selection is always fresh and local, with organic options. Its not the cheapest place to shop, but if you can swing the cost you wont be disappointed in the quality of their fresh goods.

This Whole Foods has a great selection of ready meals and snacks. A good place for a quick bite. The hot bar can be pricey but the wings are really good and come in sweet and savory choices like honey lemon. I go to this store almost every weekend for groceries and their dazzling array of GT kombucha(s).

I work and live in the area and I frequent their sandwich bar for lunch. They have very fresh ingredients and the option to make your own sandwich! They also have a salad bar, a soup bar and a wide variety of precooked foods. I cant afford to go grocery shopping here, but the sandwich bar is great.

Cerveja com álcool não é um bicho papão. Poderia vender. Muita frescura nas escolhas politicamente saudáveis.

Parking cant be beat here! Full lot and everything! Produce is always fresh, the store is never too crowded and there are always great options in the prepared foods section. The staff is friendly and helpful and the checkout lines move quickly!

Always clean and never too crowded. They have flowers, good variety of vegetables, great deli , bakery and hot food bar. The hot food bar is average but healthy. 4 stars due to running out of produce on various occasions during the day
