The Auburn mall has been the host to a slew of unpleasant shopping experiences in my life, though today took the cake in a major way. It is February fifth and we are currently having a snow storm, there is already 4 inches on the ground at 9 am, with little to no effect in the clean up effort. the snow is still coming down and the news promises that this will double or triple by 5 pm. the state has advised that all non-emergency employees should remain home and that EVERY SCHOOL IN MASSACHUSETTS is CLOSED. yet the mall remains open, so, i had to drive in an employee who is a friend of mine (i wont say this persons name) so that they could get to work for a day with no potential sales. eventually, after battling the snow and the roads, we make it to the auburn mall to find that there is no sufficient parking, the lots havent been plowed, and what has been plowed is just being pushed into a giant pile that is obstructing a main drive-way in the front of the main entrance to the mall. there is no safe place to drop off the employee and no real safe way to get out of the parking lot once you have managed to get in at all. The mall thinks that it is safe to shop? it isnt even safe to park. The inside of the mall is SOAKING WET, with only "slippery when wet" signs placed at the main entrances so as to avoid liability when one of the employees eventually slips and hurts themselves. I say employees because they are the only ones who feel any inclination to endanger their own lives to get to this god-awful place. As you might imagine, the employees are not happy that they have to drag their sorry-selves through the increasing snow and misery outside because of a mall that refuses to shut its doors, even if for public safety. Needless to say, the shopping experience is less than desirable today. this is not a one-time-thing. this has been a consistently ongoing issue. they remain open, not because of a belief that people will arrive to shop, but because if they do remain open they can charge the businesses that rent from them for that day, whether or not the business remains open, thereby forcing business owners to choose between the safety of their employees and the sustainability of their business. this immoral practice was brought to their attention via their facebook, but the comments and criticisms remain censored. A terrible business, with a terrible owner. any other mall in Massachusetts vastly outweighs this one in terms of store availability, options, customer service and food and general accessibility. i wouldnt shop in this miserable building with a gun to my head. Id prefer the sweet release of death, thank you very much. highly recommended if you are some sort of discontented masochist. I am very disappointed.

This mall is becoming more and more dangerous as days go by: fights (both inside and outside the mall), attacks, a recent stabbing, and even a killing there a few years back. Just be privy to that. This mall became a circus long before...with a poor selection of stores (mostly catering to teens) and weak food court (I remember Papa Ginos was in there as a sit down restaurant back in the early 90s). This mall has no bookstore since Waldenbooks left around 08ish, and Hallmark no longer is there. However, theres an abundance of jewelry stores ( 4, not counting the kiosks!). Its such a shame. I remember the early 90s when my parents would take me here on a Sunday afternoon. Times have changed. Its sad. The only thing this mall has going for it is the location right off the highway.

A highly highly racist environment. Money has no skin color but my money will never be spent at this pathetic Mall. Service is very poor. Employees are very disrespectful and racisit the security Guards are the first encounter most people have with the mall and they are very racist. I should have Aurbern mall know that no matter what you do or fake Law you make up or how man cops your company call on Melenin people We Will Never BRAKE so keep your sloppy service and racist environment

This is a very nice mall. It has a lot of the stores you would expect and is nice and bright. Its lacking quite a bit in the food court but my family rarely gets more than snacks at the mall these days anyway. Like most malls today, this one has the potential to start going downhill - one of the anchor stores is currently a no-name store. But for the area its one of our main go-tos and still has a lot of very nice stores.

Got a good mix of local services and chain stores for varied taste, food court is a bit of a let down but its fairly large so at least your not crowded - and the mall usually isnt crowded either weekdays, not sure about the weekend however. The parking lot is large and the mall itsef isnt a sprawling mess so its not hard to get to a store from one end to the next. All in all, not bad.

This mall is one of the worst malls in the area but could be improved a notch. Food court is messy and disgusting and Im afraid that I will get jumped someday. Usually frequented by teens which can disrupt shoppers. However, stores are ok and just go for the anchor stores and clothing stores. One plus would be the tesla parking but it seems that the mall may come back one day.

The mall sucks. Theres hardly traffic. The stores dont have any motivation to inspire new trends or make people want Togo there. Its dark.. gloomy.. the lights arent always on.. the mall musics very bland. Whoever runs it seems really boring. The food courts worse. Flies on the food...never fresh food. Sucky customer service.

What youd expect from a mall, basic shopping needs are met. No supper unique or spectacular stores. A place to get what you need and leave, not a place to hang out and spend an afternoon. Good options could be significantly better, but news has spread of a theater and possible other changes coming. More to come...

This mall just keeps becoming more irrelevant. The only store there that is relevant to my needs is Victoria secret and Macys. The other stores just seem to be outdated and needs to be changed up a bit. I think they could do more with the space that they have. Although, I did notice that the mall was very clean.

Good mall but a little on the small side. The anchor stores are Macys, Sears, and Macy;s Home. I usually only go for Macys or Sears but it is nice to see a mall that is not barren like most malls these days. Food court has good offerings but no movie theater. Still enjoy taking a stroll through Auburn mall.

This mall used to be a popular shopping center with good stores, convenience, and cleanliness. However in the last 5 - 10 years, it has gone downhill. Rather old and unclean with few stores to choose from, one would be better off visiting another nearby shopping center such as Blackstone Valley.
