Ive been going to Fabric Corner for years. The two things that stand out are: the staff and the selection. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. As an example, I was looking for an iron on interfacing product to make shades. They were out of it and the man I spoke to said hed call their supplier. At I request, he took my number to call me back with an update. You never know whether people will follow up, but he called the next day to let me know the supplier no longer carried it and thats why it was out. Not only that, but he suggested other places I might be able to purchase it and even figured out the yardage for me! the selection is especially good for home décor products. On more than one occasion, Ive found the perfect product here after Ive looked several other places. And going back to the staff, they were very helpful in finding options that went with the paint and rug samples I brought in with me. The only negative I have is that its a little hard to park.

Know what you are buying! I have been buying from the Fabric Corner for several years. They are not close to my home and I only get over there a couple of times a year. Most of the fabric I have bought has been great, and at a decent price. On my most recent visit, I bought outdoor fabric. It was with the Sunbrella fabric and advertised as 70% off. I didnt examine the fabric as it was being cut - a mistake! There are quite a few flaws in the fabric. Also, it is not Sunbrella, it is another brand that sells online for $8/yd. He charged me $14/yd. Obviously I feel misled and betrayed. Bottom line, be sure you know what you are buying and that you are paying a fair price for it!

This is a fantastic store crammed with amazing, high-quality fabric. The Arlington location also has a large collection of a) solid and patterned batiks and b) gorgeous Japanese fabrics not carried by other area fabric/quilting shops. The staff is always welcoming and helpful without being pushy or intrusive, and is a great resource for those new to sewing or quilting. Fabric Corner in Arlington is one of my favorite fabric stores in New England. (Just a note: if youre torn over whether to go to the Arlington or the Falmouth location, go with Arlington....the selection is 5x better (including many lines Falmouth does not carry) and the staff at Falmouth leaves much to be desired.)

Lots of quilting fabric, and a fair bit of home dec. A decent selection of notions. I didnt really see any apparel fabric - unless you like to use quilting/home dec fabrics for clothes. Though I didnt require any assistance while I was there, I did overhear the owner talking to a customer and another sales associate talking to a different customer. They both seemed very friendly and knowledgable and gave A+ service.

Very rude man working in there. I stopped in to pick up some fabric just as they were closing, picked out some stuff and was going to pick a few others but gave them to the guy to start cutting so I wouldnt hold him up. He said "well its gotta be fast because its already 530" so I said- "I can just come back another day" and he said "okay". Are you kidding? Why would I go back to a place like that?

The folks at Fabric Corner were exceptionally helpful. I was looking for fabric to make a bargello quilt and they helped me find fabric in various sections of the store that went together. I was also impressed with the sheer number of different types of fabric - one look inside and I knew that I would find what I needed. Thanks.

TONS of patterned quilting cotton, lots of buttons and zippers and things. Its a little musty-smelling, but that doesnt stop my mom, who has a bit of a fabric addiction.
