What a fabulous bookstore! I could spend days upon days going through the treasures held on the shelves of this tiny used bookstore! I found an amazing book this afternoon: a North Korean stamp catalog compete with full color photos of all of the countrys stamps from 1946 through 1998. How on earth did this book end up in a used bookstore in Ferndale, Michigan? Whatever your interest, you just might be surprised at what you may find in this absolutely fantastic shop staffed by a polite, friendly, and intelligent gentleman!

The store has a great selection of books of all types and the place has a lot of character. There was plenty of staff readily available to help. Unfortunately I didnt get to attend an author event here but it looks like they have plenty of talks and signings which is a big plus in Friends of the Library Bookstore.

Great selection of books. So many I hear they are expanding to twice the size. The staff, especially the manager, is friendly and professional. Try to drop by when the Business Coordinator, Lance, is working (usually on Sundays). He is extremely knowledgeable about books and is happy to share his knowledge.

Better than regular bookstores used to be. Most stuff is $2. Plenty of out of print as well as plenty of new stock. CDs, DVDs, childrens, history, fiction, reference, etc. All are well organized, perhaps better than a library. Bring old books to donate and get a tax receipt.

Decent store, big selection of books of all sorts. Their website though does claim they stock vinyl and video games, and I saw neither of those while I was inside. So either they dont have em or theyre too hard to find.

Lot of books, but the quality items are segregated and priced not to sell. Staff have transparently fallen in love with their stock, all of which are donated by the public. Avoid if you are looking for buried treasures.

Love, love, love all 3 of the Friends bookstores! The very best place to find childrens historical fiction, most at .50 cents or $1. And its all alphabetized by author, too.
