So I initially wanted a pair of Nike Trainers. I am an avid runner (upwards of 20-25 miles per week) and I had just put the final miles on my last pair of shoes. I knew I needed some new ones ASAP. I really like Pumas running shoes selection, which were my last pair, but decided to research Nike. It is sooo tough getting rid of a great pair of running shoes. Hugh Sigh. After reading some intense reviews I found out that Nike just isnt what it used to be in regards to quality running kicks. So I decided to see what ASICS could provide. I already knew what brand of ASICS I wanted...the Gel Quantum 180. However my shoe size was not in stock so I opted for the Gel Quantum 360, which is more expensive at $130, but I definitely loved the fit and gel cushion it provided my arch and heel. I didnt have to go up a half size and settled on my normal size 6.5. But after I got home and tried them on again I noticed that they were a bit roomy in the toe space. When running I need a snug fit; I dont know why I didnt notice this before in the store when I tried them on, maybe too much excitement, lol. But I will simply exchange them for a half size smaller....no issues. And with these expensive trainers and the superb quality there is not a need to break them in...I love that! The store was also having a buy one item get the other item 50 percent off on select merchandise. Excellent. I think Im an ASICS fan now. Who knew!! Dang it Nike.
