REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE - I tried repeatedly(using two computers each with a different internet connection) to print a coupon from their ad and the site did not work. Finally got the coupon to print on the day it expired and took it to the store, only to discover the price had shot up on the item because I was one day late. I asked the clerk at the resister to honor the lower price due to the problems I had and he told me there was nothing he could do. He spoke to customer service via the mike he wears around his neck and told me that no one in Customer Service at the store "wanted to see me becuase there is nothing they could do." He reluctantly gave me the name of the manager on duty and he refused as well and told me I could call their 1-800 number which I did from the store. After 30 minutes (literally) on the phone (mostly on hold) I finally got corporate to authorize the store to give the lower price. The agent on the phone was very nice and apologized for the problems I had. He then put me on hold and called the store mgr. and told him to give me the lower price. When I finally made it back to customer service, the clerk on the register called the mgr. on her mike (hanging around her neck) and promplty told me he would not lower the price! I asked to see him, and he finally came to the register and authorized it. At no point did he even acknowledge I was there!!! He then walked away, and the clerk had to call him back 3 TIMES to get the register to accept it. I finally asked him (the manager) if he woudl STAY with me until the problem was solved. The manager did not even speak to me, and just rudely walked away! At NO POINT did ANYONE AT THE STORE apologize for the inconvenience, and the repeated delays! When I asked to speak to the store manager (not the Mgr. on duty that was so rude) I was told that his number is listed on the sign by the door and I could copy it down if I liked! They wouldnt even take the time to give it to me! I was only asking for a price adjustment of $5. It was hardly worth the 45 min. I had to spend fighting for it, but it was the principle of the thing that mattered. People at this store could CARE LESS about how the customer is treated! They do everything they can to handle the problems at the store via mike and headset, which gets the management out of having to actually talk face to face to the customer! If this is what I had to go through for a $5 coupon, I can only imagine how they will treat me if something goes wrong on a big ticket item. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY THINK TWICE ABOUT BUYING THINGS FROM THIS LOCATION. Just read the other posts on this site and youll see the pattern! There are many other BEST BUY stores in the area that actually care about serving the customer. I echo the countless complaints on this site begging the store to improve their customer service! And by the way, you might want to check their prices against Amazon! Amazon is often cheaper, they deliver straight to your door, and you dont have to be treated like you are an annoyance instead of a paying customer!

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY A FLATSCREEN TV FROM THIS STORE I purchased a 55" Samsung LED TV from BB and had the employees put it in my truck. Drove home and got the TV in my home with no issues. As I began to carefully slide the TV out of the box, the screen did not look right. I was back at the store the next day. I told them something did not look right with the TV screen (I never took it out of the box to plug it in and turn it on). The screen was damaged in 4 different places! An employee (name begins with G) then tells me that there is nothing that they can do. Huh? I then said that I only wanted to exchange the TV for one that was not broken, did not matter. I then brought his attention to the fact that I got a 4 yr. protection plan - I was told that the protection plan would not cover this - again, huh? They boxed the TV back up and then told me they could do nothing. It was a good thing I had to be at work because I had just about lost it at that point. He then tells me that they sell 1,000s of TVs and that they do quality control that pretty much insures that they could not have done this damage and that I did it? Huh? He tells me where the TV was damaged, and then I asked that would there be a dent in the box, styrofoam, or a scratch on the TV if I did damage it at that point? He saw nothing and said even a little manual pressure could have done this. Huh? I asked how he could be absolutely sure (seeing as though he was not there) that this TV was not damaged at the point at which it was put in my car by BB employees. He said that this was rare that BB actually damages TVs and that "most likely YOU did this"? I had the TV for less than a day and it never came outta the box. I left and went to the Elkridge, MD store and went straight to management. They looked at the TV and switched it out for me immediately (the service there was par excellent). I even learned that I got a bad TV sold to me as a new one. If you have the money, let BB bring the TV to you and inspect it in front of them as THEY take it outta the box. Have them do the set up and get coverage. If ANYTHING goes wrong with the TV, it is on them, period. I know it sucks, but should you walk out with a TV and anything goes wrong with it, its your loss, and they will do nothing to you. As far as this Laurel store, as mentioned in another review, they NEVER answer the phone and the customer service is fairly poor. You can find the same prices at any other BB store, but I would not go back to this particular store to buy batteries.

I frequently visit the Laurel location and I normally am in and out already knowing what I need and where to find it. I recently went because I needed a new phone due to dropping mine and cracking the screen. One of the associates sat with me for literally two hours and answered every single question I had and he was extremely professional and polite. I then revisited the store today looking for another product and as soon as I walked in the door I saw him and he immediately came over and assisted me in finding exactly what I needed. I have never had a bad experience at this store and will continue to shop there regularly. The only negative thing that I would say is that I do agree that they do not answer the phone when you try to call for assistance or to ask a question.
