Customer service definitely needs A LOT of improvement. Got my nose pierced, they didnt even educate me about the piercing or say anything at all. All they did was pierce it. That was so awkward. Like can you at least tell me how to take care of it afterwards. The 2nd time I came to get my stud changed and same thing. They never told me that straight piercings have a tendency to fall out or not stick all the way to the bottom of the nose more than L shaped . They just seemed in a rush. Now my piercing at the bottom closed up slightly. I assumed they put on a brand new pair of gloves when attending to me. I hope they did cuz I dont have time for that. My piercing got a little infected but I just used peroxide and that helped. But anyways there are definitely other piercing places out there that have way better customer service. It shouldnt be that deep for me to get information about a piercing that I am paying to get. Educate your customers and improve in customer service.

MY husband went for a cover up and spent 300 dollars... we were told that the touch up "if needed" was free and that since he said that my husband had 100 dollars worth of time.. Since he was planning on getting another tattoo he agreed to come back to use the time but was told that if he didnt want another tattoo the 100 dollars would be refunded..... When the tattoo healed you can still see the original tattoo as the ink for it is a darker black than what they used. My husband emailed them and said he would like to get his touch up and that he would like to refund the 100 for now because the next tat he wants will take more than an hour to do and we cant afford it right now.... The guy emailed him back and said the tattoo looks fine but that we can schedule a touch up and said the tattoo looked good to him and that he wished he would have tattooed him slower ..WOW really? this guy is a JERK take your business else where

I visited the new location in Crofton. It was very nicely laid out, gorgeous space. Very attentive staff. The wait (As a walk in) wasnt long at all, and the tattoo I got which is pretty small didnt take long at all, maybe 30 min IF that. Their grand opening party for this location is 4/14, theyll have awesome sales on their piercing and tattoos, so youll definitely want to check it out if you see this review before then. Over all an excellent experience, I will definitely be going back for future body mods!!!! Status: Went back today for their Grand Opening, TONS of fun! I also got piercings, they were awesome there, very nice reassuring, everything just an awesome place!!!

Ive been going to red octopus for a few years now getting tattooed and they dont compare to other shops. The staff is friendly,knowledgeable, and professional. Jen White has been my artist and I cant say enough positive things about her. She has reworked a few of my tattoos done at other shops, and they turned out so much more vibrant and colorful. Since then Ive had two full sleeves done by Jen. She did a amazing job. She really took her time and made my tattoos a original piece of art that is my style. If you are looking into getting a tattoo I would definitely check this shop out. I know I will be returning for more.

I walked in a got a bad vibe just by the blank stare the front desk guy gave me. I wanted to get a nose piercing and after asking a couple of questions he went to the back "to find out" the answer and came back with no answer, turn asked me if my ID was fake (wth) and has me fill out the form just to say we cant do it cause youre too far a long.. Not just cause Aim simply pregnant. So why waste my time when I am obviously pregnant and even told him before I started to fill out everything. Poor customer service and lack of professionalism totally wouldnt go back there

Very clean and professional! Jen White is an awesome tattoo artist. She is honest, there were a few places I wanted a tattoo and she gave me in site on there longevity and if they would still look good a few years from now. You give her an idea of what you want and she will mock up a few different designs for you also to pick from. Very pleased with the work of art from here. Keep up the good job!

Great place to get a tattoo . If your deciding what place to go this is the place they might be pricy but its a tattoo thats going to be there for life , so why not have it done right . P.S its way better than the silver spring tattoo place of your wondering . Wish I could show you a picture from that silver spring tattoo shop vs red octopus then youll really know

Every time I want a new tattoo, I go to Red Octopus. The staff is very friendly and they will help you create the perfect tattoo that you will be happy with for a lifetime. The atmosphere in the shop is great as well. I got my first tattoo at this shop ten years ago. I will continue to go back to this location for all my tattoo and piercing needs.

Great people, great artist. Gene is really good.... find lines just like ive wanted. I got the one i originally went in for and ended up getting another one right after. Price is fair and excellent personalities. I promised Gene that i will write good reviews about my experience today which validates my 1.5 hrs in this shop! Highly recommended!

Ive gotten most of my work and corrective work done here. My cover ups look great and my new work looks awesome. All of the people who work in this shop are friendly and do not have that "Im a rockstar" attitudes. I feel welcomed and the environment is great. Ive been through a lot of shops in my day but this shop is the best! Check them out!!!

I got a tattoo done here and they f it up I paid $200 for a rose and it looked. Like my son did the tattoo for me I want back for them to fix it and told me they could not do a thing for me. I asked for my money and said no. So now I am takeing them to court. There not nice and they over price there crappy art work

Had a great experience, staff was helpful, fun, and accommodating. The artist Jacque was able to modify my design to make it look extra special even though another shop said it will look like a crossword puzzle and the conversation during the process made the time fly by. I will be back for my next one.

Ive have gotten 7 of 10 of my tattoos here. The artists are patient, the shop is clean, and the selections are enormous if your not sure what you want. The only drawback is that they are a bit pricey but the quality of tattoos makes up for it. I would definitely recommend Red Octopus

I got my ripped skin American flag tattoo done by Jen White and from here on out I will always go to her for my tattoos! She is a pure artist! All the staff that works there are friendly and professional! I do and have recommended people to Red Octopus for there tattoos!
