I absolutely love this shop and wouldnt ever want to go anywhere else. Tattoos are for life and when I decide to make a piece of art a part of my body for the rest of my life I expect quality. Low Tide delivers exactly that EVERY time. The staff pride themselves on customer service and quality craftsmanship. They will never try to exploit their customers or charge unfair prices for subpar work just to make a buck. Low Tide truly cares about cultivating lasting, satisfying relationships with their clients. They truly strive to prove the highest quality of custom work to every customer. When you walk into Low Tide youre greeted with smiles and respect, not ignored and left to browse cheap outsourced flash. The shop is immaculate and spotless. The staff open prep and open every single thing that will touch your body right in front of you so you know youre being tattooed with fresh, sterile equipment. The staff will treat you like a person, not a walking bag of money. They are always willing to answer questions and make your experience as enjoyable as possible. I will always support them and I absolutely recommend this shop to anyone who wants a gorgeous custom piece.

Ive visited several tattoo shops and had art put upon me in 3. I have to say that this shop and my experiences here are the best yet. Friendly, professional people. Warm with private rooms with your artist of choosing - and I say warm as in climate too, because if youve been tattooed in a cold environment, youll know what Im talking about. Russell White III is a fantastic artist as well as a person. Hes a very humble guy for being so good at what he does. He can talk to you for hours or put on a tv show for you on a flat screen - the latter of which was a first for me and much to my surprise was a FANTASTIC distraction during a 5 hour backpiece session. He gives very good pricing for his work and is extremely efficient at getting a lot done in a given time. He basically touched up/covered up/finished up a huge backpiece I got started 7 years ago with 3 artists in total working on it, but with Russell nailing it! I am extremely satisfied with the finished piece and honestly wish I had started it with him. As soon as he dropped the tattoo gun, we were already hashing out ideas for an oni mask tattoo on my right shoulder :) cant wait!

My mom had been calling for an entire week asking when we could go in to talk to someone about my tattoo. The guy we were talking to kept saying he wasnt sure and that hed get back to us, but never returning our calls. Id like to start by saying that the official website says that Low Tide Tattoos is open 7 days a week. So, I drove over there today (Sunday) to just go in and talk to someone about a possible tattoo Id like to get done, how much it would cost, put down a payment, and make an appointment. The place was impossible to find, so I drove around the back and saw a very sketchy looking man standing in front of a building smoking a cigarette. I pulled over and rolled my window down to ask if this was Low Tide. He said yes. Then he said they were closed? Then I asked if he worked there, and he replied yes. Then I asked if I could ask him a quick question and he rudely said, "Id really prefer if you just came back tomorrow when were open. And its by appointment only." And all I wanted to ask was if they would tattoo me even though Im only 17. Rude, unprofessional, and definitely not a place Id like to go to get my tattoos done.

"White Trash" Matt and his crew at Low Tide Tattoo Gallery are some of the most amazing crop you can find around. I have quite a few pieces from Matt himself, and I have to say, in comparison to a lot of artists around he really has it down. Chris Carter (another of the talented artists) does phenomenal black and gray work and I am looking forward to expanding my collection with some of his own originals. This shop is committed to breaking the stigma of other tattoo parlors around. Not a cluttered hole in the wall with thousands of pages of flash to pick from; but rather a comfortable, laid back environment pack with a wide variety of skills and imagination to take your ideas and give you a one-of-a-kind custom piece that you can be proud of for years to come. Stop in, you wont ever look back.

This tattoo shop is truly among the best. Their customer service is great. Every time Ive gone in for an appointment, Im greeted with a smile. Everything is set up and ready to go, but dont think that these guys are the types to watch the clock, or rush through something. Theyll take their time to make sure that you walk out of their shop completely satisfied. These artists realize that this is something that means a lot to the customer and do everything they can to make sure that its original and something that youll want on your body for the rest of your life. Prices are great, and people are awesome. I recommend Low Tide to everyone that I know that is even entertaining the idea of getting a tattoo.

I have had 8 previous sessions with different tattoo artists -- my experience with Low Tide Tattoo was by far the best I have ever had! Not only are the artists amazingly talented and professional, but they also show a real interest in the work that they are doing and the people they are doing it for. I flew out to this shop all the way from Hawaii based on the wonderful recommendations that I received, and the experience was even better than I had been told it would be! If you want quality artwork from amazing artists, this is the shop for you. The fact that the atmosphere is so amazing is an added benefit! The shop is beautifully decorated and very welcoming; you will not regret choosing Low Tide. :]

Clean, friendly, creative atmosphere - definitely not your run of the mill place. The interior design definitely fits its name with the blue walls, aquatic theme and warm woods, but the best part is most certainly the people and the fantastic artwork they do. The artists here truly care about their work, its not just for the money. They get to know you on a personal level, they listen to what you want and produce some truly gorgeous pieces. From the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff to the amazing ink youll walk away with... I couldnt recommend it more!

I would give it zero if this were an option. Took my girlfriend to get a daith piercing. The guy who works Wednesdays doing piercings was terrible. He didnt seem like he was sure of how to go about doing the piercing and when my girlfriend went to another shop to have the jewelry changed, they told her that it was the wrong piece of jewelry for this piercing. The amount of blood that had poured into her ear while having the piercing done affected her hearing for two weeks! Do not go to this shop for piercings!

Matt ("White Trash Matt") at Low Tide Tattoo Gallery is a GREAT artist. So far hes done 3 tattoos for me and most recently has covered up an old pooh tattoo with a koi fish (cant even tell its a cover up). His work is amazing. Its not just a tattoo but an art piece!! Ive gotten so many compliments on all of his work. Hes very light on the hand too...Ive had some artist in the past who just jammed the needle in my skin, but Matt isnt like that. I would highly recommend using Matt. You wont regret it!!
