I have gotten both my first tattoo and septum done here. Why? They are cheap. (Granted the tattoo was because I was 17 and it was birthday and I was very pressed to get it done last minute on a Sunday). Not for the faint of heart though.. its very ghetto inside and not the cleanest. I havent ever noticed a smell like some other reviewers. All the tools are however clean and they open up new tools and jewelry in front of you. The artists are good but not great. They are very friendly and down to earth though. Depending on when you come in they may be high or drinking or some sketchy things may be taking place. My artist a while back was drinking Hennessy while doing my tattoo (again I was 17 and pressed) Both me and my sister got work done that day and she gets all her work done by him now. As crazy as that sounds he didnt mess anything up and his hand was steady. My tattoo healed with no problem and it looks fine. The artist who pierced my septum told me to clean it with alcohol and that in fact should not be done. I have never encountered this woman artist people are complaining about. The owner usually is not there and sometimes you have to call for someone to come open up the shop and serve you. I would not come here if I had money to go else where. Well I take that back I can see myself getting another piercing here. Its not horrible but dont come here expecting something fancy and special. They only take cash so have that before coming. But I repeat do not step one boujee foot in here you will run right out. If you are looking for something quick, simple, and cheap go for it.

THE WORST TATTOO SHOP IN THE WHOLE DMV! NEVER IN MY LIFE, OUT OF ALL THE TATTOOS IVE HAD, THIS WAS THE WORST TATTOO I HAVE EVER GOTTEN! ALL THOSE REVIEWS UNDER ME ARE ALL LIES AND FAKES! MY TATTOO ARCOSS MY CHEST WAS SLOPPY! THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. JEM HAD AN ATTITUDE WHEN WE FIRST GOT THERE. MY TATTOO HAS NO TYPE OF UNIFORMITY. THE SHADING IS TERRIBLE. SHE DID A RUSH JOB ON A TATTOO THAT HAVE TO BE ON MY BODY FOR EVER. NOW I HAVE TO PAY TONS OF MONEY TO GET IT COVERED UP!!!!!!!!! THEIR ESTABLISHMENT IS DIRTY!!!!!! NOT WELL KEPT AT ALL. THE TATTOO SHOP SMELLED TERRIBLE. ALONG TIME AGO WHEN THE TATTO SHOP WAS CALLED "IMAGE" THEY WERE THE BEST OF THE BEST ARTIST IN THERE. NOW THERE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT WITH DIFFERENT ARTIST. THEY SUCK!!!! I EVEN HAVE TO PRESS CHARGES AGAINST THEM. MY ADVICE------> IF U DONT WANT A SLOPPY JOB, SCARS, SCRATCHES, OR EXCESS BLEEDING....I ADVISE YOU NOT GO TO TO "DE ULTIMATE TATTOO"!

I just wanted to take the time and tell you all that I got a great tattoo today by Jay at De ultimate Tattoo. My girl friend got hers done by chris. These guys are great. the shop is very clean and smells good. I dont know what all the hatings were about. These guys are good caring folks. Jay has been doing tattoo for over eighteen years. The first thing I noticed when I walked in the shop was how clean it is now, compared to the previous time. Most important the shop is consistently open. These guys take thier job serious. They are not under any influence like most Tattoo artist.

This is a great tattoo shop. All my boyz comes here to get there tattoo and piercing all the time. I sincerely appologize for my previous fake reviews against this great and cost effective shop. This is a great place to come if you leave in the area. There cost are way better than the competitions plus you get much better work for your money. Dont be fooled by the phychological concept. Put your money in the place that you lay your head.

I just got my flower tattoo on my tight. This is the most beautiful color that I ever gotten. These guys are great. Rght here in our neighborhood. Now I dont have to waste my time and money going to Annapolis rioad.. Shout to Marcus and Joey. They got it going on. Did I forget to mention that the shop looks so beautiful inside. It is very colorful.

De Ultimate Tattoo Shop is the best shop on this side of town and any side of town for that matter.... John is one of the best artists and teachers I have ever met and this shop is very lucky to have someone so talented on their roster.. 5 Stars to De Ultimate Tattoo shop. Great job guys!!!!!!!!!!
