Typical Asian Market. (Korean,Japanese, Filipino, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese) They also have Indian foods also. Prices are pretty ok compared to Safeway & Giant & Amazon. I couldnt resist the eel roll sushi for 3.95 since I read it was good (Ive had before at restaurants). It was pretty good. Way better than American stores premade (except Wegmans--Wegmans good quality sushi also). Its got the typical slightly rundown appearance most Asian stores have. Make sure you examine & sniff what you select & choose carefully. I got Thai Basil ($3 fresh) cuz I cant find in American stores and I am addicted to Thai Basil after loving Pho -Thai restaurants. Eel sauce (unagi) small bottle $5. Fair I guess. Stuff is like crack. Beware the MSG. Sweet Chili sauce, good brand Hoisin at very good price--I was buying Amazon, Teriyaki, sriracha hot sauce. Um...I also got frozen leek/pork gyoza (I thought pricey $15 for 1lb--but to be fair I havnt shopped Asian market over 1 year) I also got 2 lbs froz uncooked shrimp for $20 and the widest Banh noodles I could find. I like WIDE & thick noodles. Note that you pay for sushi where you pick it up and $10 min for debit card so I paid cash. OH! Yes they have fresh turmeric root at decent price so if you are making the healthy Turmeric teas and soups--heres where you can get it

Poor service, and unacceptable behavior of management! I dont shop it often even through its across street from my place, and never feel good about this place, and I dont know why until tonight A very unpleasant event happened to my mom tonight. She is very nice 56 years old Chinese lady. Everyone call her, " mama Lin." When she walked out the front door tonight, a older Korean manger stopped her and try to open her bag! My mom havent steal a thing on her live. I asked, " did you see she steal? Why dont you call police? What give you the right to search bag?" And he keep said, "I want to see and I ask her." I told him to call police and wait. And he walked away without a apology!!!!! To him ( the Korean manger who worked at night of April 13,2016), I have one thing to say, " bad people think all people are bad, the thief only sees thief in his eye! Shame on you" Im going to write my comment of this place until he apology to my mom! PS: can anyone help me twit or FB? Im not popular at social media, need help. Thank you very much! Remember, " Injustice for one is injustice for all!"

I bought some bread and they were all molded found out when I got home so I called up the store ….. the person who picks up the phone dose not speak English" I asked to speak with the manager "their store manager also barely speaks English" after all I realized that talking to them was a waste of time!!! The manager instead of at least apologizing for my experience he quickly got out of the phone and said that he is going to call me back "he never did" a very next day I called him back "he hung up the phone!!!They have the worse costumer service in this store. I did not even ask for my money and I was amazed how the manager handled the situation!! All I was expecting was a simple apology and make sure that they wont sell molded bread to the other costumers.

Im a fan of Lotte Plaza in Centreville and this store doors not disappoint in terms of selection of produce and grocery items. The biggest reason for this low review is the entrance of the store. The columns to deter folks from not being able to push their carts to the parking lot has two big downside. 1: creates uneasy traffic nightmare at the entrance with cars lined up to load grocery bags. 2: I was unable to push my babys stroller thru the restraints and has to lift the stroller above the columns! How do customers in a wheel chair get thru? Or are they not ADA compliant? This issue can easily be resolved by hiring a couple of employees to police the lot. That seems to work at their other locations or is it that folks here are not to trusted!

I was in the store at about 8.20pm on March 06, 2013. I bought some fish and requested them cleaned. A young Latino fellow started the cleaning. To my shock and astonishment, this stunted Latino buffoon let out a blood curdling throat-clearing phlegm from his mouth and spat on the fish he was cleaning. It was the most disgusting scene one can ever witness in a store. I tried complaining to the supervisor, and he kept looking at me like a cow, obviously because of his poor English language skills. So these Spanish and Korean folks should be advised that if in their own countries, they spit on food before eating, most people coming to the shop are civilized and they respect their civilized sense of humanity.

I have been shopping here since the store came to Germantown and Love them! The produce, meats, fish, and specialty international items cant be beat! Because of Lotte, I have cooked foods from many parts of the world that I have never cooked before. Every visit, I buy one item that I have never tried or cooked with before and try it. The sushi is the best in the area and sooo cheap. Always crowded, but thats part of the experience. Oh! The bakery is so yummy. My favorite is the veggie bun...get one on the way out and eat it in car...hehe. Tried the eatery once...very good.

This is the Asian supermarket I shop at the most frequently, even though its not my favorite. Produce is very competitively priced (I think I got 5 for $1 limes last time I was there), but there are fruit flies, and it doesnt feel as clean as other supermarkets. That being said, they have a huge selection from across multiple continents, and I find myself here frequently. If you can, Id suggest the Gaithersburg location over this one.

I love shopping here! They have a great selection of fish, and greens. My mom sends me all the time for ingredients. I also love their selection of teas and Korean food and products. It gets really crowded on the weekends though! I recommend going during the week if you have a day off or when you are working from home. Its only about 25min from Frederick.

They have groceries for different ethnic cuisines divided into aisles and sections. They have a butcher shop, fishmonger and a Sushi dept. Korean food and Indian food for immediate cooked food. Their prices for produce are quite competitive. They have a divided bakery and housewares section also.

Dirtiest place ever. Smells like a dead fish all over the place. Guys in the fish department dont speak English very well although they are very friendly and try to help. In comparison with Gaithersburgs location this place is much worce. I prefer to go to Gaithersburg brunch.

This store welcomes you with the bad odor, probably because of the frozen sea food items. They keep good variety of Indian grocery stuff but dont get surprised if you come across many items with already expired use by date. So be careful while buying such items.

My go to grocery for Asian dishes. They offer fresh seafood and meat. Offers a variety of fresh produce which are cheap. They also have great deals too from time to time. Nice workers too who are willing to help you out. Overall a great place to shop.
