I have to say I am very disappointed with Toys R Us and the lack of respect and safety for its customers. I do not know what the policy on handling certain situations are but what me and my young daughter and husband witnessed... I hope was not how things are supposed to be handled. As we approached the checkout lane and waited to be rang out we witness several employees running around through the front of the store than hollering out to what appeared to either be a security officer or maybe even a police officer as this man than took off toward the back of the store running . The other employees were running around at this time ...as a parent I was concerned and my young daughter began to become upset asking what was going on. At that time we witnessed a young man burst out through the front doors practically taken the glass door off as the employees begin to run and chase him and again yelling where is the officer. I was beyond frustrated at this point that my 8 year old daughter was witnessing this and that these employee would put customer safety in harms way for a buck. My number one thought was what if a customer had been walking through that front door at the time this young man stormed out of it . Do you think he cared if he had knocked someone over or injured someone in his flight ... No! What if this young man was armed ? I have worked retail and I was never informed to handle any situation in this way . A child should never have had to see or witness something like this in a toy store . I have called and spoke with a manager at the store because I want them to know that this Frederick Toys R US needs to re think the way they handle a situation the next time it occurs. As we left police were already arriving and maybe this should of been left to them not the employees who clearly didnt know how to handle the situation in the first place . For a place that is suppose to be child safety first this store should be ashamed !

Bad customer service. I bought a bag of baby doll accessories from Amazon for my girl. It came in a damaged bag, some items could fall through a hole. And we were told that we can return it in local toys r us. We return it and got $10 refund.The lady said thats the price we paid to Amazon. We told her that we paid $14 not $10. She didnt care, and just pointed the scanner in from of her and said "I scanned it. It showed $10, thats the price you paid" But its wrong! We paid $14! She repeated it again and again seemed like that magic computer never made mistakes. So we asked her to cancel the return. We could return it to Amazon. The answer is no way.

Its a Toys R Us. Selection isnt that mind-blowing, sort of light on staff (which I prefer, honestly). Kids like it a lot. Decent amount of stuff on display, decent variety, pretty good Lego selection. Much better toy selection than Target or Walmart.

Nerf items were in stock short of the female ones. Did price match amazon but only on 2 of each item, but I did put back half of what I was intending on buying because of the 2 item limit. So I guess Toys R Us lost out.

This store had a lot of toys as it should be. Taking a star off because it was hard finding what you wanted and there were not enough staff to help you.
