I have had it with this pharmacy! They never have my prescriptions ready at the time that they promise. Every time I go to drop off I tell the workers I want my prescription ready ASAP and they tell me itll only take 10 minutes. So I sit around and wait, walk around the store, go back in 15 and its never done. On average, it takes them about 30 minutes. The most recent time in particular it took an hour! I dropped off my prescription at 4:04, they promised me 10 minutes, I come back twice and the prescription didnt get to me until 5:15! Who wants to sit around CVS for that long? The reason why they claim it took so long is because they put it under the wrong name. Also, the lady who was handling it had a smirk on her face the whole time like it was funny that I was getting frustrated, rude! I just dont understand how you have 4 employees working and everything moves in slow motion back there. Also, the pharmacist is always extremely rude. The one Im referring to is African and when you ask her for help with a medication she just cuts you off quickly and doesnt seem to care about your problem. Im definitely going to try going to another CVS next time, possibly the one on Greenbelt Road.

Like other reviewers, I have found the pharmacy at this CVS to be lacking in customer service skills, including courtesy. I was reminded today, when trying to get a flu shot (which my medical insurance covers), of why I am glad to have started getting my refills through the mail. The pharmacist questioned whether my insurance would cover the shot since so many insurers do not. After looking it up and discovering I was correct, she told me that I would have to pay for the shot and then submit a claim for reimbursement. This contrasts with what the CVS website says about flu shots at this location-- "most insurances accepted"--I have a common insurer and have had prescriptions filled there in the past without having to file for reimbursement. I left disappointed and without having gotten the shot. I didnt mind the reimbursement as much as the thought of getting a shot in such a negative environment.

This CVS pharmacy is the BEST PHARMACY that I have ever dealt with. I take a lot of medications, so I am no stranger to pharmacies. The main pharmacists at this location, Marshall and Jennifer, are wonderful. Angela and Brian were also great before they left. The pharmacists (and other staff) all know me by name, which is astounding (my actual name is Brian H). They are always prompt and professional... and they know what medications I take without having to look them up. What makes this more impressive is that my meds arent unusual, and they change every now and then. If you live in or near College Park, this is the best pharmacy to go to. Bar none. I am frankly shocked by the bad reviews. Ive never had a bad experience in the many years that I have been going to this location. I practically consider Marshall and Jennifer pals by now. They deserve some positive recognition.

Ive been going to CVS Pharmacies for over 20 years. I have never seen such unprofessional pharmacists in my whole life. Brian once took my prescription, looked at it, and then told me they didnt have the generic in stock and handed it back. Afterwards, he filled it, so when I went to another pharmacy they looked at me and accused me of trying to double fill my prescription. I asked if the CP pharmacy had the prescription. They did not. Another time I gave my prescription to Angela and asked her to make sure they had the generic in stock as they are not supposed to take the prescription unless they can fill it. She looked at me and rudely said tomorrow after noon. That was on April 4th, today is April 19th and they still have not filled my prescription. CVS Regional Management needs to do a massive overhaul on the CVS Pharmacy staff.

Rude pharmacy. Poor service. Didnt have record of prescription for my son despite my confirmation of doctors office calling in. At their request I had the doctor call in the prescription verbally (again). Pharmacist takes call and immediately puts them on hold as I am standing there and tells office that she has two calls ahead of them. Then, demands to speak to provider saying "you called me I didnt call you" - when they had just asked me to have my doctor call it in because CVS didnt log record of prescription 5 days earlier. Then pharmacist makes a comment that "I dont have time for this" and hands to assistant. Very unprofessional manners and interaction. I almost felt I needed to call my doctor and apologize on their behalf.

Even though this pharmacy already had a one-star rating, I went anyway. Its the closest pharmacy to my house and I thought "its a pharmacy, how bad can it be?" Well, I got there at 8:35PM and even though they close at 9:00 they said they wouldnt have my prescription ready that night. OKAY. Then they said they open at 8:00AM and my prescription will be ready by 9:30. WTF. There were two workers, and they were NOT busy. Its insane. Now I have to wait until I get off work tomorrow. And what if I go out for some drinks? I might have to wait until Saturday! Such lazy piles. Its called a WORK ETHIC people.

I stopped filling my prescriptions at this CVS and instead drive down the road to East/West Hwy. store because I have continually received poor service and was once verbally attacked by one of the pharmacists. One day the head pharmacist was shouting- berating her son on the phone- while standing directly behind the counter. I felt bad for the kid. Apparently, others have had similar encounters. Slow. Wont answer your questions. Will bit your head off if in a bad mood. end of story.

FRAUDULENT PRICING. This store routinely has inflated prices at the register above the marked price on the shelf. Worse than that, the staff will often refuse to honor the shelf price even when you bring this to their attention! Ive heard various excuses for this nonsense, such as "we cant control the prices in the system, they come from corporate," and "it takes a while for the system to catch up with the marked sale prices."

A bunch of crooks! 2 days in a row they havent honored advertised sales. They need to do a better job with advertising their restrictions and programming their systems to recognize the sales. The service was just awful too! I use the self-check out because Im in a hurry. The sale didnt come up so I hit "request assistance." I stood their for 5 minutes before I just said screw it and left.

A good pharmacy staffed by nice people. People tend to be stressed out when they visit pharmacists, and pharmacies often have many bad reviews. People think the pharmacists rude. After 30 years of diabetes, Ive dealt with some rude pharmacists. THESE pharmacists and their assistants are great.

I cant speak for the pharmacy but the front store is the best! Everyone is nice but my favorites are the pretty Hispanic girl and the scrawny white guy. They are very friendly and never fail to make me laugh! They really know how to make someone feel welcome. A++++++ !
