I went to DC because my pharmacy was out of my prescription. I called before I went to make sure they had my prescription in stock, they said yes. It was a Saturday, I handed them my license, prescription & insurance card. After waiting a few minutes I was told that they needed to call my DR to confirm my prescription because it was a controlled substance. Then they asked me for my license... Helloooo its in your hand!..... I was told they would call me once they did it. Wednesday and still no call, so I call them (By now I"m out of my prescription). I speak to the pharmacy rep. After listening to her breath heavily for 5 minutes she tells me she needs to let me speak to the pharmacist. I am on hold again for another 5 minutes when a man answers the phone "Hellloo". He was quite angry sounding. I ask if I am speaking to the pharmacist and he says yes and I tell him my situation. He then tells me he doesnt see any notes about calling my Dr, that they were out of my medicine and that it just came in today and my prescription would be ready. Man am I angry! I already knew there was a shortage of my medicine, if they would have been honest with me I would have found another pharmacy to get my prescription filled! Terrible Customer Service, Unprofessional Service.

I always have had a good experience at Drug City. They are a very large pharmacy and store, so I know that I will have to wait if I come in during a crowded time. I have never had a bad experience there with customer service. Also they are impressive in the extensive line of drug products they carry, both in the pharmacy and over the counter, including homeopathic. I take a medication that usually gets special ordered but they always have it on hand. The prices are great. I got a pair of cute little readers, trim kind that fit inside a trim box, for only $2.99. They have everything you could want in the way of vitamins, hair care, cosmetic. I mean everything. I dont know how they do it. The hours there are every single day of the year==that means Christmas Day, Thanksgiving and New Years Day--they are open. Hours are great, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Weekends 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.They also carry nice gifts at holiday time, and many nice items like candles, little statuettes, They have toys and games for kids, crayons etc. Art supplies. They have a limited grocery/liquor store. I am sorry others have not had good experiences there. I have always left feeling very satisfied and sometimes really impressed.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have had recently. I was tracking down an old product my doctor recommended for an infected wound (I am diabetic). I tracked it down to Drug City, and they had it in stock. However, when I attempted to find the store, I didnt realize that North Point Blvd and North Point Road were different roads. I called the store; they have no directions on their answering service. THREE TIMES I waited for a pharmacy person who had 2-3 customers ahead of me. When I found the WalMart she asked me to find on North Point Blvd, I called again, waited again, only to find she didnt drive. Then SHE PUT ME ON HOLD, ostensibly to find a person who could give me directions, and I waited for several cycles of the intersection where I pulled over. And my cell phone battery just began to die. Ill find the product anywhere else but Drug City.

While the pharmacists are ok, everything else is poor. Poor customer service all around, from grumpy ppl at the counters (all of them), to lack of communication, to them not giving all of the prescriptions. Also not to happy about being accused of theft (security guard could not get his story straight enough to say what i was supposed to have done, which was open up the medication bag to make sure they gave the right prescriptions, which is apparently theft). I grew up in Dundalk and still regularly take my grandmother to Drug City to get her and my grandfathers scrips filled. Have noticed that in the past couple years, the service here has dropped off significantly. And while their prices are good, i would recommend going somewhere else.

Drug City day shift, whether it be, in the Pharmacy or the Front of the Store are AWESOME!!! The night shift is ok, to deal with, but not as good as the day shift. The Delivery Guy RJ is absolutely fantastic, If you need a couple of extra things Michele is AWESOME about getting it ready for RJ, before we bought a car, this was always a nice service to have. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU TIP THEM, they take time out of their day to take care of you, so I dont think them a tip is too much to ask for (from a customers point of view). They dont ask for one, but they do add a $1.95 on to your bill, you get charged than that for food delivery.

Ive been to all the chain pharmacies....Drug City has what other pharms dont have and plenty of it cuz they have a huge customer base....these employees are on their feet all day and they are not kids but long term employees... been seeing the same people all the time not like some of the chains with new people every week and no one at the counter.... drug city has dedicated counter help and they dont leave it unattended... so all the whiners need to go to there own little fav place and just stay home

I love Drug City, it is not a big chain, all the employees are very helpful and nice. The wait time for a prescription pick up is usually not too long and depending on what time you are there you can also, take care of postal errands as they have a post office kiosk in house; you can purchase lottery tickets, browse the $1.00 aisles (my favorite), pick up greeting cards, last minute gifts or a bottle of wine to take to that dinner party you are attending....it a one stop shop!!

My sleep medicine was transferred to another pharmacy without my say so. I asked how is this possible? And do you have a screenshot of the tracking info? He was surprised because nothing was filled about where it went. But they filled it anyway. Just a real inconvenience for a moment. I would of given 4 stars but the cashiers at the pharmacy have been consistently rude over the years. I now go to WEIS.
