I am a frequent consumer of Pier 1 Imports and I go to the Annapolis ,Bowie, Gambrills, and Pasadena locations. I want to commend the service I get at all the stores with exception to the Annapolis location. The service I receive there is so incredibly rude, that the District Manager was involved with a previous poor customer service incident that I had and she had the store manager apologize to me, and yet I just had another terrible experience there last night, 1/10/2017. The Annapolis location is the closest store to my residence but I will NEVER step foot in that location again. If Pier 1 does not resolve the issue with the poor customer service training in this location I guarantee it will discourage their consumers opinion especially if this is the only location the customer had the unfortunate experience in which they chose to do their shopping. I can say that more than likely I would have stopped my purchasing of their merchandise even though I love what I find there if I wouldnt have shopped at the Bowie location and met their Manager Phil who changed my opinion of how I felt about the customer service so in conclusion the corporate office should be grateful for the service the Bowie location gives their customers. DO NOT SHOP AT THE ANNAPOLIS LOCATION is what I will be telling anyone I have the pleasure of telling! Lori

This is Natallia. I saw an incident of the consumer at this store too on same day. The consumer is hearing impaired and he was victim of the incident with the furniture that caused his fingers to get cut and bleed. The employees of the store were negligent and did not express any apology and did not compensate the poor victim consumer. I heard what they said that they set up their purpose to let Deaf consumer to go away without an incident report and without compensation. I saw this whole incident, unfair treatment, and bad attitude of the store employees with Deaf victim who is a consumer. We are concerned about these store employees unethical work practice and inappropriate approach with the incidents at the store. Deaf consumer with his bleeding fingers cuts left upset and shocked without apology and compensation.

We witnessed a Deaf consumer who got minor cuts on his finger accidentally because of the furniture. His fingers were bleeding and we reported to store employees and Ron manager. Store employees whispered Ron manager that victim is Deaf and it is not worthless to take care of the Deaf consumer and its incident. We witnessed negligence and bad attitude of the store employees and Ron store manager. Deaf consumer asked for an incident report but Ron manager of the store refused to complete the report and give a copy of the report to Deaf consumer who is a victim of the incident at the store. We witnessed a failure of appropriate action of the store employees. Bad employees at this store. Wow! It was unbelievable that 3 of us witnessed the incident.

Nice place for home decor, albeit pricey. Weve bought some very nice items here, typically in the way of dishware, linens, or decorative items. Service here has never been an issue for us when visiting; there was one time when the Annapolis location did not have the full quantity of an item we wanted that they had out on display...the associate called over to another location for us, asked if they had any of the item in stock, and asked them to hold the item for us.

For a store that seems to have huge inventory they have nothing interesting. Staff here seem to keep to themselves. It was the same when this store was nearby. It just does not have the service culture of similar companies.

This store is DANGEROUS!!! I wanted to buy practically everything in the store however, the price tags most certainly prevent that. Its like Tiffany & Co, but for home decor.
