I needed to send flowers to my girlfriend at work in Annapolis and I'm glad that I found Michael Designs Flourist. The first store I called couldnt guarantee same day delivery (even though it was in town?) , which wouldn't work because today was our 1yr anniversary and I didn't want the GF to think I had forgotten if they didn't get there. The lady at the first place made it sound as if this was normal procedure to give you a two day window on deliveries and when I'd politley said, thank you I think I'll call around shed responded with "well, you can do whatever you want"...wtf. I'm Paying you good money to do a job for me. If you can't do it, simply let me know and I'll find someone who can. No need to sound standoffish with your potential customers. Now call me old fashioned but I think it's great when employees are personable and take the time to discuss things with you. I'm absolutely lost when it comes to flowers so it was really nice that the gentleman at Michaels took the time to talk to me about the different selections. When I told him I didn't really know the difference and asked him to pick something nice he asked me a few questions, said he had an idea and that shed like them. It's so nice dealing with a good buisnessman/woman, he obliged my request and helped me out by making my life a little easier. He guaranteed same day service between the times I requested and even went on to answer some questions I'd had about wedding venues in the area(for my sister's wedding in a year or so). Overall just a great experience and my girlfriend called me extremely happy, commenting that's the flowers were exceptionally beautiful and asking where I'd bought them. Good customer relations = happy customers.

If you have an event where you need flowers, these are the florist you want. They did the flowers for my wedding and I cannot express how AWESOME these guys are. My wife and I had started with another florist who told us we could get "Tiffany Blue" Hydrangeas for our wedding. Six weeks before the wedding that florist said "we cant get tiffany blue but we could do mint green". Mint green is not tiffany blue!! As we were scrambling to look for a florist. We read a couple reviews on Michael Designs here on google. We gave them a call. Instead of telling us what we couldnt do Jim and Sean came up with several creative options to still keep our colors!!! It turned out so much better than we envisioned!!!! We met on saturday afternoon and by monday they were back to us with a price quote....that was without the fastest any of our wedding vendors responded. If only we had found them in the beginning!!!!! You wont find a more courteous, profession and creative florist in annapolis maryland!!!!

The whole experience of working with Michael Designs was perfect! We met twice before the wedding, and both times were productive and fun, and the flowers were stunning. Jim is amazing - he is very easy to talk to, easy to get in touch with, and most importantly, he is a phenomenal artist! His ideas made our wedding flowers and tables come to life. My bouquet and all of the bridesmaids bouquets were delivered right on time to the place we were getting ready, and they were stunning! We had a nautical themed wedding, with red flowers and navy/white accents. Since it was a hot July day, we were instructed to keep the flowers in water as much as possible, and they looked perfect all the way through the reception - a full 12 hours after they were delivered! At the reception venue, the tables and decorations were also perfect. In the entrance room where the cake was displayed, Jim even designed a beautiful table with wooden ships surrounded by flowers that brought the whole theme together.

These two are amazing in creativity, vision, and especially customer service. I had a very specific vision for my wedding that I had been dreaming of for years, Jim and Shaun took the time to understand my vision and even brought in sample flowers so the colors were exact. Flowers and design do set the atmosphere for your Wedding and your Guests. I chose to carry a bright bold bouquet with bling, surrounded by bright mango tango and sunshine yellow hues.... a bit out of the ordinary for most weddings. Their flowers and designs were beautiful and unique. They made my dream a Perfect Reality and I am a perfectionist. I know they will be able to create your Wedding Vision PERFECTLY as well. They are highly recommended and wonderful to work with!!!

My wife and I was very satisfied with the service that we received with this Florist. They were polite and respectful. We live about 500 miles away and wanted to send flowers to a friend who had to put their cat down. We searched the internet and found this florist and e-mailed them about 9:00 PM that night. We received a personal e-mail back within the hour. We were shocked to hear back so quickly. The next day my friends received the flowers and sent us a picture of it with a thank you commenting how beautiful they are. they did such a wonderful job. We will use them again we were very happy with the service.

Far and away the BEST Florist in the Annapolis area. Big city style and design at affordable prices. These guys are simply AMAZING! We have used them for every type of occasion, parties, weddings, and even a backyard barbecue. They always deliver fantastic quality and stellar service. No one else even comes close and we have tried other florists in town when they were booked for other events. We will never use anyone else for our orders. Highest 5 Star rating, if we could give a couple of more stars, we would! They richly deserve it!!! Book them early, as they are always busy on weekends especially!!!

I was in a pinch and needed to get a corsage for my sons homecoming date. Admittedly, we shouldve ordered this well in advance, but got busy and it slipped our minds. After being laughed off of the phone for a day-of corsage request by 5 other local florists, I found Michaels. He said, no problem... Ill see what I can put together for you on short notice. It was beautiful, and he even managed to work in some color to match my sons/dates apparel. Well certainly not procrastinate again, but Ill never go anywhere else for my floral needs. Great guys, great arrangements, great service!

We highly recommend Michael Designs to anyone looking to do flowers for a wedding or for any other special occasion for that matter. We selected them to do our youngest daughters wedding flowers after meeting with several other florists in the Annapolis area. Even though we had a large wedding party and almost 250 guests for the reception, everything was incredibly beautiful and far exceeded our expectations! They were professional, easy to work with and did an exceptional job.

Michaels is by far the very best Florist. They are exceptionally creative and their designs/arrangements are very unique. I have used them on several occasions and every time they have delivered the most exquisite and beautiful bouquets. Having dinner with my mother last night, to whom I had sent a birthday bouquet from Michaels, she commented that the bouquet was "the most beautiful arrangement of flowers she had ever seen." I would really never consider using anyone else.
