Homeowners with a sense of community and a general misunderstanding of tools (like me) will find this store a blessing...especially die-hard Yankees (like me). The men and women of Tchefuncte Hardware dont laugh at me when I come in asking for "large objects that are heavy and are used to do stuff around the yard". They actually probe my stupidity and really help. This is comforting. Even my wife comes in to witness their professionalism vs. my ineptitude. Love you guys!

Just what Ive been looking for in our area - a locally owned hardware store that has great customer focused service. Prices and much of the selection the same as the big box stores. Yet they seem to have more employees than the box stores and are very willing to help. Very worth shopping here - get exactly what I need and support a local business.
