I have always tried to support local businesses but while in theTroy, IL store today some old HAG ( I found out it was the owner) talked to me like I was her dog or her child (because used a large bolt cutter off the shelf to cut a bolt). The staff was busy and i thought i was helping out by taking care of my needs myself, if that was a mistake shame on me, However I will not be spoken to in that tone when Im the patron. I promise it will never happen again since I will never go back in that store, from now on I will drive another 3-4 miles to Lowes or Home Depot

I always go here especially to rent the equipment thats ALWAYS in tip top shape. Where else can you go and rent a bobcat or even something small like a powered post hole digger or brush hog for a decent price and have no worries about it? Its a nice small business local owner too and love the dog that walks around especially when you get a free bag of popcorn, boom theres the dog wanting a piece haha. Highly recommended!

If the last reviewer would have noticed, there are signs all over the store that ask customers to NOT cut anything! This is a fantastic store with very friendly and helpful staff. This place is great to run to for your little at-home projects and is much more personable than a Lowes or Home Depot. A+

If someone used a new bolt cutter, now it is a used bolt cutter. Did you buy it after you used it? Too bad you didnt use some common sense instead. This store has the best service you are going to find anywhere, and is my favorite hardware store.

Great hardware section, but in general, their process are way too high. They are totally dedicated to low volume, high marine. I think they would do a lot more business if their prices were just ok.
