I am normally not one to complain but I felt this was a poor reflection on the Aldi name. I am a stay at home mother of two and naturally being a one income household we are on a budget. I prefer to shop at Aldi over other retailers due to such low prices for great quality. Well I have to wait for my husband to get home from work so I can make it to the closest Aldi before their 8pm closing time. We live in a rural town about 30 miles out from Paducah so you are my preferred location nearest to me. That being said I found it extremely frustrating and upsetting to arrive at your Paducah, KY location last night only to find it closed two hours early!!! It was around 6:40pm when I pulled up and the parking lot was empty. I found this odd at first but thought it was mostly due to it being a Friday night and not a peak time to grocery shop. Well I walked up to the door and noticed a yellow piece of printer paper with black marker on it. The paper read, " We are closing at 6pm tonight due to the cold weather". Now yes I understand that it was 16 degrees at the time I was there with even colder wind chills but why close two hours early for that?! Upon reading this about four other people drove up to ask what the sign read. I repeated it and we all shook our heads in frustration and found this ridiculous. Number one there was ZERO ice or snow on the ground and therefore posed no threat to driving conditions. Why would cold weather be cause to close two hours early?! Its January and therefore its winter, you can expect it will be cold!! Due to this extreme inconvenience and honestly quite ridiculous reason to close, I was forced to shop elsewhere. Not only did this cause me to shop somewhere else but I had to spend way more than anticipated on a one income budget! Im not sure if this was a Managers discretion situation where he/she is allowed to make those decisions for their store but it was definitely a poor reflection on the store and company! I am definitely spreading the word about this location in Paducah and my experience. I guess I should call ahead next time if the temperature drops below 20 degrees during the winter time!!

I shop here on a regular basis. Best food prices around. Dont be afraid of "store brands." Theyre as good or better than national brands. They even have a guarantee to double your money back if youre not pleased, but Ive never had to use it! You have to use a quarter to get your basket, which you get back when returned. You have to bag your own groceries in your own bags, but they sell bags very cheaply if youd prefer. But all of this is what makes your groceries so inexpensive - LOVE this place! I have a large family, so we go through lots of food! I drive 45 minutes to get here and its SO WORTH IT!

I shop at Aldis often and never had a issue till last night I had purchased some Casa Mamita crunchy taco shells 12 ct. ,put them in my oven and my house filled with a terrible smell and when I opened my oven to check temp.of them my eyes immediately was burning ,pulled them out the oven and they had a glossy look to them ,one of us got sick from the fumes that was in the air ,not to mention the taste was terrible .Needless to say they went to trash and I had to air out my home and oven cause the smell was a waxy overwelming odor . I will continue to shop at Aldis but will never buy thia product again .

Recently remodelled the isles are bigger the store is brighter and much neater. This Aldi offers a wide variety of fresh organic produce and products at rock bottom prices as well as pantry staples. I also love the fact that I can pick up not only Mexican foods, but German and Italian cuisine. Great variety and selection! Cashiers are friendly, too!

Like many stores, the items that I go to Aldis for are often "discontinued." More importantly, the local store is quite some distance from my home, and Aldis greedy "streamline" approach to zero customer service makes it impossible for me to be sure that what I need is there before making the trip. All-in-all, its just not worth saving a dollar or two.

I love the concept of Aldis, but be sure to shop around for prices before filling your cart. Many of the products they sell can be bought for the same price - sometimes even less - at other stores in town. Their meat in particular seems to be overpriced and is of no better quality than Kroger or even IGA sells.

Aldi is my favorite grocery store BY FAR. They have AMAZING prices, meat and produce always fresh, great selection on unique items. I cant get everything I need there but almost everything. I spend half the amout I do at Walmart or other groceries.

Good quality groceries at a really great price. Bring your bags and a quarter for the cart. You get the quarter back when you park the cart. Their produce section isnt huge, but it is very fresh and will last more than a few days in your fridge.

If you want to save money shop at Aldis. I wish they had more cashiers but that would raise their prices. All store should switch to the pay for your shopping cart. Dont forget your quarter

Normal clean Aldi layout. Great deals if you like their brands! (Which I do, with the exception of the fiber bars and peanut butter) Try their Hot Italian Sausage, its my favorite.

Now that this Aldi has been rebuilt it is alot nicer. Fresh produce is the best around. The turnover really keeps it fresh! Always check their prices, they beat anywhere else.

They dont carry Asian vegetables. Some times shelves or produce bins are empty. If asked mgmt they say sold out or not order enough.
